Barca Transfers and Rumors

JUST IN: Barcelona’s plan for 2025, mostly summer, is to bring in a new winger. Leao (super appreciated) and Nico Williams are both 2 names being mentioned in the internal discussions within the club.
@FabrizioRomano

I think Leao is ours to be honest. They will try to get him first and if it doesn't work then go for Nico.

Leao will surely want to go to Barca and if Laporta can afford him, which is now possible because of Nike agreement - then it's probably done deal.

Leao has higher ceiling obviously, but he is indisciplined defensively

In any case, this discussion is bewildering and infuriating...
FAtporta wants to burden the club with another 'marquee signing' for this political BS to combine it with the opening of Camp Nou.
As if we didn't learn anything from Bartomeu's disastrous stint

WHEN THE TEAM DOESN:T need any LW right now.
RAphina is on fire, Lamine is on fire.
If we need something is rotation cover for these positions, and not any superstar as a starter

It all starts from above: the SD is still a mess. And Deco is clueless, and cannot resist the whims of Fatporta

Listen, Flick can do no wonders as good as he is as a coach when you have incompetent people above him.
The SD is the most important department of contemporary football, and the board and president have to respect their decisions and not impose stuff on them

I agree with the timing being off, but do you really expect such a massive sign on fee? He is closer to Benfica's Darwin than BVB's Halaand in terms of value and hype.

Well if the buyout clause is true, then highly possible.

100m total fee so 20-25m signing fee request would be my guess.

So Darwin Nunez fee in total.

Chelsea, United, Arsenal and City all bidding. Barcelona named but don't think we have serious interest.

BREAKING: Gyökeres is Barcelona’s favorite pick when it comes to signing a striker in the near future, with his price around €60M-€70M — there have already been contacts with his camp and as well as Sporting Lisbon. All depends on Lewy’s future.
@tjuanmarti

I bet he'd chose Barca over any EPL club if we came knocking for him, especially with our current form
Ok, this makes some sense, because we need a CF long-term solution.

The last line messes things up THO yet again: "All depends on Lewy’s future"
@tjuanmarti
What does that mean? That Lewy has to decide to go for the club to make the signing?

FFS. You make the signing and let Lewy realize he can't demand things at 36.
He will stay for a year and rotate with Gyokeres for the CF position, and then leave to wherever he likes
Clubs have authority

There are not here to pamper players

I still don't get why they want a LW when our false brazilian is the least injured after Lewandowski. How is that supposed to work? The midfield is also full.

Everyone complained about Lamine playing too much, now the x/r*ddit clowns and maybe even Laporta/Deco don't want to do anything about it.

Obviously signing a very specific Liverpool player would be great on that position, but with the wages of FFF it will be very difficult.

Olmo is injured literally 90% of the time. We could comfortably play the new LW signing and Raphinha at the same time.

Raphinha will be a starting LW and backup RW. I am not sure why this is so hard to understand for you.

In a perfect world, you get a thuram type player, who can fill both the LW/CF position.

Not many out there, that I can think of.

Just get Nico, he ups his level around better players, yamal likes him, he's Spanish so will fit in immediately.

Sell raphinha in a year or two.

It's called good business.

Strange that you never used these excuses for Xavi. :ROFLMAO:
