You didn't hear? Apparently they completely ghosted him after signing Duran. Medical and everything done, but then neither his agent nor Bayer Leverkusen were able to get in contact with Al-Nassr

Oh shit, I didn't know 😂😂😂😂😂.

That's fuck up.

Jhon Duran, Mitoma, Baena and who knows who else they'll target in the coming days.

Still, nobody in Europe will watch unless they try and rebrand the teams NFL style.

End goal is Champions League access since Israel and Real Madrid are already there.

Without that it's still domestic, unless they sell their tv rights to themselves overseas.

It's just the way they operate in the Middle East if you've ever dealt with them personally. They'll walk away and completely ignore you when trying to do business with them even when everything is in place. I guess when you got fuck you money you don't really give a shit anyway.

I don't think it'll ever work. I don't know if it was you or someone else that said it, but the Saudis should do what they are doing with boxing. Bid an insane amount of money to get games like El Clasico, big PL games, CL final to Saudi instead.

They are trying the LIV golf strategy, get enough big players to sign for them and eventually Europe a top European league or most likely the CL will come knocking and say let's merge/do something together.

The goal is to get a Vini, yamal, Mbappe level player, then they can start pushing eufa.

That will absolutely never happen.

UEFA would never allow it and it would legitimise Saudi as a top league and destination for top players.

The top European clubs the next day would look to leave UEFA and start their own Superleague.

They said it from the start through Fabrizio Romano at least. From the beginning he said it is 2 players negotiations, and only one will be signed.

I doubt they care that much about UEFA.
MBS is about being the one "modernising " the country. He cares more about people there enjoying the product than European attention. He doesn't need the later considering most of the World leaders are under his payroll.

Seem to have wanted it with LIV golf, but different sports I guess, but time will tell.
