We need at least one new forward, whether that's a striker or a winger, can't go through another season with just 4 players for 3 positions.

Think we could have really used someone like Ayoze, shame we didn't/couldn't sign him.

I doubt we'll sign a striker this summer unless we intend that guy to replace Lewandowski, regardless of him staying another year.

It's either that guy or they'll wait until 2026.

I agree, I also doubt it - I think we're not going to see many changes in the summer. But next summer after that though...

Diaz is good but just isnt all that productive for ability he has.

Think he has 1 goal and 1 assist in 15 games in 2025 so far.

Liverpool have not been that desperate to keep him.

If we are looking for strikers outside the obvious (Isak, Gyoko) then we should also consider the Mbappe, Dembele(lol), Marcus Thuram route of someone who is a pacy powerful winger who can play both positions but can explode in our attack if given the move to the ST slot. While also being able to give depth wide if needed.

We got Ferran Torres who is a tier 2 option showing, at times, how much that sort of profile benefits us.

I'm not sure if he would be that cheap because Brentford are minted, for Mbuemo could be that guy for example.

All of those players joined to be starters.

The issue for Barca is looking for depth and a player who would arrive willing not to be a starter at first at least - which is harder to sign players as mentioned in that scenario.

IMO, the only players they will consider are Isak, Gyokeres and Sesko.

Maybe they'll talk about Osimhen if he's fairly cheap, but there's other issues with him.

Have a very hard time seeing them sign B or C-tier strikers or prospects and spend a significant amount on them considering even such players go for 40-50m nowadays.

They might just pivot to a left-winger and wait to sign a striker next year in that case.

Aye true that. I'd argue we could get a good quality 4th man in rotation, who has the potential to become a starter. Lamine, Lewy, Raphi, xxx for the front three positions. Ferran behind the quartet.

Would be ideal situation.

Need to be right profile mind, and have the versatility for out wide and up top.

Easier said than done though.
