What's new with Howedes? Highlight of his season so far is that red card vs. Lyon.
He looked so promising few years back, hope he picks it up.

His prob is that he doesnt have decent defensive players around him anymore. And Schalke generally sucking atm. Besides that he is still rated as a promising talent.

Besides, how comes you opening all those new bundesliga player threads recently?

I bumped some threads in order to rebuild the search engine
I'm generally more interested in Bundesliga than in other European leagues (except Spanish one) so German players are bound to come up.

With Benatia and Hummels likely not moving from their clubs this summer, I wouldn't mind if we made an attempt to sign Benedikt Howedes from Schalke. He plays centerback most often but can also cover both fullback positions. What do you guys think?

Would be a pretty decent signing. He is the captain of Schalke. Might be a minor obstacle
