I'm surprised there's so many hate on the green shirt. I really like it.
But the 08/09 one is the best

That mint green shirt isn't that bad! I mean... there is worse to come :shrugs:

Probably the best season I've experienced (05-06 comes close). It all started worryingly with Ronnie and Deco sold, and Pep wanting Eto'o out. We didn't do that well at the start either, and this at the back of two very disappointing seasons. But then... victories vs RM (2-6!), Henry playing like in Arsenal, Iniesta floating over the pitch and into the penalty areas, Xavi taking that final step, Eto'o being Eto'o, Piqué surprising everyone, Dani finding Messi, Hle... oh wait. And that goal vs Chelsea

Yes, the 08-09 season was beautiful in many ways. For me personally it was even better since I witnessed Don Iniesta's late minute goal against Chelsea at the Stamford Brigde. I still can't believe how we advanced that day. Sadly it was more or less the same feeling I had when we went out against Chelsea this season. Just could not believe it although I was pretty sure that we would not advance when Piqué went out and Ramires scored that goal seconds before the ending of the first half.

I also remember the 08-09 CL final fondly. Busi, Iniesta and Xavi playing like bosses the back four (Puyol, Yaya (!), Piqué and Sylvinho (!) playing like bosses as well despite big worries before the game due to Abidal's and Alves' suspensions and then a great Henry toying with Ferdinand and the Man Utd defence despite being injured (much like Don Andrés) and Eto'o and Messi being Eto'o and Messi. Watched it in Copenhagen on a big screen in the city center with 10.000 others. The Barcelonistas were heavily outnumbered (as expected in Scandinavia when an English club is the opponent) but we all knew who laughed last.

Great weather as well for a change.

I am already getting nostalgic. That Pep era was something special - sadly it could not continue for reasons we don't know all about yet. I hope we will know more in the upcoming years.

Yeah I don't think the mint green was bad either, just think design wise it's my least favorite but in terms of color I liked it better than peach. I remember hating the mint when it first came out and then I got used to it, bought one with Villa on it :)

But yeah, anything we've had the past several years is better than what's coming out next season tbh.

The mint kit looks great on studio shots but on the pitch its terrible, just like the peach one.

The yellow kit was pure sex, the black one comes in 2nd, its way better than the others and it doesnt even have UNICEF on the chest...

Generally Delightful
10/11. I hated it at first and then it just grew on me. It was the only away jersey I have ever bought.

Same here. Except I haven't bought it. I'd like to, but it seems hard to get in a small/medium size.

E: One of the 08/09 jerseys signed by Bojan is on German ebay currently.

The black. The green was good, too. The true measure of how good the team is this year is their away record, which they have miraculously accomplished despite having to wear the ridiculous popsicle outfits.
