What did he create? All I saw was him fluffing chances created for him.

He made that 1 good run. He is part of creating that as it signaled Messi to give the long ball. Yes, he wasted chances but he put himself in good positions and posed more danger than Deulofeu.

I agree that he posed more danger than Deulofeu but he is playing as either a centre forward or inside forward and as such shouldn't be commended for that. His job is to score goals, hold play up and play in decent final balls... He's failed miserably at that, not just this game but all season.
