Even Gotze is not. Just look at his performances after the world cup. They lost three key parts of their squad. Gundogan, Hummels and Miki in the same window. Gotze and schurrle are a questionable transfers, a gamble if I had to put it subtly. They did sign some other good players so it might be okay, but I don't see both Shurrle and Gotze transfers as good business considering for how much they sold him to Bayern in the first place.

Nah, I don't think Ancelotti will screw this up. Whether they admit or not, Guardiola did further refine this already-strong Bayern team and took them to a new height, despite the lack of CL trophies during his tenure. Ancelotti will take advantage of this, one thing he is good at is being practical and he will play to the strengths of his players.

BVB is good but not as consistent as Bayern is. To me there is still not much suspense in the Buli race. The best chance to rid Bayern of some trophies is still at the DFB Pokal where the outcome of one game weighs much more.

Do mind explaining how? I agree there may not be a chance for BVB in the league but I do think perhaps the season after, Carlo will mess things up.

The bold part? I think Guardiola had built upon the good work started by Louis Van Gaal and refined the techniques of their players in terms of possession-based play, passing and off-the-ball movement, under him Bayern's midfield had become one of the most dominating in the world, if not the most.

BVB will have an amazing offense line next season, but overall they are a bit top-heavy with a good defense and questionable midfield. No matter who is in charge, Bayern is still much stronger than them, not to mention Anchelotti is one of the best managers in the world.

Dortmund not so strong without Gündogan, Mhikytarian and Mats?:banghead:

Only the lost of Mats Hummels is hurting us. Gündogan almost was injured the whole last Season and Mhikytarian, about him I don't need to talk any more. his behaviour during the German "DFB" cup finale in Berlin was subterraneanto and his theatre at the contract negotiations was just pathetic. Particularly as he has been "fed" during 2 years by Borussia Dortmund and Jürgen Klopp without showing achievement. Only one good season under Thomas Tuchel and already "his head grows into the sky".

how worthless the statements of some players are, makes particularly the case "Miki" clearly. Still 3 weeks ago he would have stepped with Tuchel in the holy state of the marriage to turn then disdainfully to more productive fields. Farewell Miki!

Ok, so we have Gonzalo Castro who becomes stronger and stronger and internalises the system of Thomas Tuchel more and more, we have Auba - contract till 2020 - sorry pep - which lets forget Lewa in Dortmund completely - we have Marco Reus, Kagawa who is completely the old person again, Barta, Dembele, Waigl, Raphael, Cuba, Mario and Schürle (both are first-class players - and find the way back under TT again to old strength). And, finally, stops comparing Dortmund and Bayern.

Small clubs like Dortmund, small clubs without big finance polster, bring out young players _ for what? So that pep and Mou can deeply reach in her change purse and buy up the "qualified" players.

Ridiculous amount of talent Dortmund currently got.

If they manage to keep them for 2-3 more years AND improve the areas they need to, they'll absolutely be right up there with the elite teams.

well like higuin .. i dont buy that choking talk.. season consists of 38 games, if your player deliver in 35 games and played bad against a top team and you still lost the title that means hes not at fault at all

Loads of young talent and an aura of positivity surrounding them, but they look suspect at the back whenever I see them. Not even close to be ChL challengers yet, as a see it.
