1) because it's irrelevant whether you finish 2nd or 3rd
2) because they trail Leverkusen by 6 points by now, which is quite a gap at this point of the season

1) Effectively, it is, but for the players I doubt they wouldn't care. 2) Yeah but once they have their squad back (injury line is too ridiculous to name anyone), they won't struggle anymore, or not as much, and can easily get back thete.

But I agree with you - personally I would not have played Reus today but rather saved him for Marseille. They need to get through the group stages.

They're falling apart in terms of injuries, nothing else.

Certainly yes, however I still think they are struggling a little bit to get into the comfortable zone and click, if you will. Reus to me has been inconsistent this season, more bad days than good days. The early woos and ahhs Mkhitaryan displayed faded and he is yet to find his rhythem. The loss of Götze is still being felt.

Suck it Klopp. Your stupid barça talks. karma is a bitch. Mind your own fucking team.

What did Jürgen Klopp say about Barcelona in such an offensive way that you react like that because of a bundesliga match with no connection what so ever to the blaugrana?

He said that if Barca of 2009 had been playing when he was young, he would have preferred to watch Tennis, because he doesn't see the fun when one team is so extremely better than everyone else that they beat everyone and win everything. Which was not meant as an insult- he just meant he doesn't like a lack of competitiveness. To be exact, he was saying that after being asked whether he would one day decide to coach a bigger team. Which he wouldn't, as he, so he says, wants the challenge of coaching an individually weaker team. The whole thing is just ripped out of context.

Then I guess Klopp must be quite bored these days, with Bayern being so much better than everyone else.

The context was why he's not interested in coaching those teams. Not boredom or football in general. (And he declined the offer to coach Bayern, which proves it's nothing specifically about Barca). Bayern is not Barca though. Let them continue for 2-3 more seasons.

I remember that he said that, I don't notice any offense against Barcelona. Even if ripped out of context, it is an opinion in which he maintains the respect. I didn't know he doesn't want to coach the elite teams; I respect that. Brian Clough thought the same and we all know what he achieved (however, BVB is one of Europe's biggest and most successful teams, unlike Nottingham Forest or Derby County).

BVB is because Klopp made them. When he took over, they were nearly bancrupt and dwelling somewhere in mid-table. It was really him and the good cooperation with the management that made BVB the back-to-back league winners and CL finalists of today. Similarly, he took over Mainz when they were in the 2nd division and managed to get them promoted to the first. Inbetween he had the chance to coach Bayern, and chose Dortmund. Now he could have the chance to take over the national team from Löw, but instead just extended his contract at BVB. Just proves his intention imo.

Also no way he hates Barca, he has repeatedly talked very fondly of them, especially Messi.

I'm not diminishing his work. He has been amazing in Westfalen, he took a team with plenty of difficulties and turned them into a top european side. Nonetheless, before his arrival BVB was already a respectable club, a Champions League victor. Nottingham Forest was a 2nd division team when Clough took over, and they are a 2nd division team now; pratically all of their conquers were achieved with Brian at the helm.

I agree, however, that BVB is because Klopp made them. Without Klopp, it would probably be BVB was.
