Floyd kills boxing even more than Wlad does the heavyweight division. He is like the Chelsea of boxing all defence scared of losing. Its never going to please casuals who expect Morales vs Barrera type action. Atleast Pac tried to fight and attack Mayweather who just kept him at range by pawing with his jab and clinching or moving whenever Pac came in with punches.
I dont believe the compubox numbers either, punches were way too fast for old men pressing buttons to catch al that in a flurry live.
Its sucks that Floyd gets rewarded for his negative style. Its not beautifu boxing defensively either like sweet pea whitaker. just olympic boxing style boring tactics to survive and steal rounds.
You cant have a fun fight involving Floyd and it would never do the world of boxing any favours.
Had this been Marquez or Morales in his prime it woud have done boxing a world of good.

Or just boxers with a killer instinct that are hellbent on destroying their opponents and giving the public a show.
Anyway I can't take tiny fighters like Floyd and Manny seriously. For God's sake all of my female siblings are taller than them. It just feels wrong. A fighter like Floyd has not even been able to knockout a single opponent in over 15 years of time. Last time it happened was in 1999!
Despite this the clown is comparing himself with Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis and other all-time greats? Just pathetic man.
Boxing is in dire need of a new generation of heavyweight fighters that just have half of the intensity, killer instinct, ability to entertain etc. as the likes we saw once.
Characters like Tyson.
It's no wonder that UFC is 1000 times more popular among the public than boxing nowadays when the "champions" for an eternity have been found among the likes of Floyd, the Klitschko brothers etc. Give me a break.
Let the dwarf that is Floyd stick to beating defenseless women and hanging out with Bieber.

I get it Mayweather will do like he said, "anything to win" but that fight did not deserve "Fight of the Century." That title belongs to Ali and Frazier's rivalry years because it was equal and not only about who's more popular, or money or even who's a better fighter. Ali and Frazier just wanted to fight, a pure clash of titans. This however just show how much Mayweather cares about his winning streak, unlike Pacquiao who just wanted to fight.

Mayweather knew this is the best time to take home one if his last biggest pay checks. He made like, $4.3M for every minute he was in the ring.
The guy is best at what he does. But with the whole world watching, we probably deserved to see a bit more.
