Canelo didn't have a hope. At least he was honest after the fight though. Mayweather put on a tutoring match for poor Canelo.

I just don't know how you could possibly beat Floyd Mayweather, I just don't. He's so good and masterful, it's hard to even describe it. Another reason to respect a legend like De La Hoya - he fought Floyd after his prime and many people still claim he won the fight. I'd like to see a prime Oscar against him.

De la Hoya got beat, you need a thomas hearns type fighter to beat floyd, height, reach, power, workrate.
He is always going to beat his opponent tactically since he is the perfect defensive fighter and has this Cr7 type training mentality so he won't decline.
Just disregard tactically beating him or being worried about his punch accuracy, just throw a lot and overwhelm him.
Or just catch him early like a shot Mosley almost did.

I have not followed boxing for over 2 years now so watching floyd school him is brilliant but I normally would always root against Floyd because he is such a prick, leading up to a fight you cant wait for him to be ktfo cause he is so annoying and stupid.
Its kind of a shame since he is one of the best defensive boxers in history along with Pep and Sweet pea Whitaker.

Floyd has already been beat! and if he fights Pacqiuao or Golovkin he would lose again, this time it will be official though

Are you serious? He'll make Pacquiao look stupid, he'll just play with him as a toy. And this is coming from a Manny fan.

And as about Golovkin, they said the same things about Canelo, too. "Oh, but Canelo is so big, Canelo is so powerful, just wait until he connects". And in reality, Canelo never connects, because he never touches Floyd.

Are you serious??? how on earth could Mayweather toy with Pacquiao??? you cant toy with someone as quick and unpredictable as Manny! Pacquiao has everything to trouble Floyd he has the Hand speed, footwork, he throws punches from awkward angles that you don't see coming, he has the stamina to match Floyd, he is a great combination puncher and is a master at the one punch that can break Mayweathers tight defence! The straight right/left hand!

Cotto showed what happens when you throw that straight right on Mayweather! He threw that punch after every combo Floyd kept expecting a hook but the punch straight down the middle kept landing! Depending if Pacquiao fights the right fight he could certainly beat Floyd! Had they fought when they should have years ago my money would have certainly been on Pacquiao!

Mayweather is of course the better boxer but Pacquiao is the better fighter I just don't see Floyd making Pacquiao miss like he done to Guerrero or Canelo I think Pacquiao is too quick and too accurate it would take Floyd at least 6 rounds to start being able to time Pacquiao, but pacquiao's straight left could cause Mayweather a lot of trouble.

and as for Golovkin he is very different to Canelo who was always going to get outboxed! but Golovkin has good footwrok and would be able to trap Mayweather on the ropes and once he does that its lights out!

There isn't anyone else for Floyd to fight. This is what's so horrible about boxing. The matchmaking is complete crap and that's the main reason why I will always watch UFC/MMA events before a boxing one.

The only fight that would get me a bit hyped would be Floyd vs Pacman. Still, Floyd would win but at least he would get an opponent that has somewhat the same quickness and agility as him. Even then, Floyd is known to pick his opponents carefully so I bet he wouldn't fight Pacman even if he turns 50 years old.

Carl Froch v George Groves pt 2 coming up

The first fight was great, there both fucking knobs  i will definitely be tuning in.

Watched it on a stream. Froch deservedly won and ko'd Groves in the 8th. Groves game plan though seemed like he was leaving gas in the tank for the latter rounds which from round 7 on he seemed to be doing, but Froch hit him with a right hand right in the face.

The first fight was much better, Froch underestimated him the first. This time however he didn't & boxed smart & was the clear winner, and fair play to him.

Both are knobs though, but entertaining knobs nevertheless
