Manny's definitely in decline, though. I don't know why he's fighting that coward Mayweather when the timing is clearly to the latter's advantage. It's making me very nervous.

There are 80 Million reasons to fight him. Money will get 120 Mil. though.

Haha, yes, there's definitely that. Whoever wins, they can both retire with pride after this fight. Manny's truly gone from nothing to on top of the world with his hard work and determination. And Mayweather's tactical picking of opponents has also ensured his place at the top of the boxing scene.

Side: I happened to check Messi's Instagram some months ago. Apparently he's a Mayweather fan.

Carl Frampton is a good fighter and would beat Scott Quigg if they met.

So excited for Mayweather vs Pacquiao. I so want Pacquiao to win :)

Just insane.

Wladimir Klitschko vs Bryant Jennings in 20 minutes time.

And MGM being greedy and charging people obscene amounts of money just to sit in one of their bars and watch the fight on TV, as well as not allowing any other casinos or bars in the city to purchase the PPV. We were planning on going out somewhere to watch it but not anymore.

So the only "public" place to watch the fight is the MGM? Is that even legal?

Either the MGM itself or any of the other properties they own (several other casino resorts in the city are owned by the same parent company). And apparently so, because they bought the exclusive rights to show it.

That sounds absurd. Talk about an unhealthy monopoly. Is that only limited to Las Vegas? What about other nearby cities and towns in Nevada?

Also if I may ask, what is the amount that MGM is charging?

Anyway I was too quick it seems. The Wladimir Klitschko vs Bryant Jennings fight has not even started yet.

I'm not sure if it applies to nearby cities, only going by what I've read and what I've been told. I think the cover charge is $100 per person, which tourists might pay but most locals won't.

That's too bad but i guess the fight is just that big. No PPV for me, thank god.

Is that not what the PPV costs? Sounds as a fair amount of money to me IMO.

Still that monopoly seems really silly.

I wonder if you can stream the fight for free on rojadirecta, drakulastream etc.

Anyway the Klitschko brothers have to be some of the most boring heavyweight champions in the history of heavyweight boxing. Such calculating fighters that take full advantage of their height and left jabs. I know that Vitali has retired but he was a carbon copy of his younger brother.

I think that Wladimir would struggle against average heavyweight boxers (in the historical context at least) such as Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. No height advantage and no grabbing.

Heavyweight boxing is really in a dire state and has been that for at least 10 years.

Don't think that's what the PPV costs, i seen it advertised on sky for £19.95 or smth, which is about $27 or so

$100 cover charge is a joke, that's even before you've had a few drinks! was looking forward to going to casino & watching but meh, aint paying that.
