I know it was the first game but I fear for Brazil and their potential World Cup chances. They have some decent talent in particular areas but as a team they haven't been very convincing, on defense especially.

I was most shocked by Hulk last year who is incredibly greedy with the ball. Neymar is still young, and Robinho was left out as well wasn't he? Their team and selection choices aren't in the best shape.

That's because he hasn't imposed his ideas on the team yet. I mean, I had two or three options that I preferred to Phil but he just got here, relax. Also, to be honest, he's earned some credence in the past to be allowed to function.
His more recent credence is to have relegated one of the biggest br teams to the second division. After working on the team for 2 and a half years.

I'm not sure you want his ideas on the team at this point.

What Brazil does need though, is Diego Costa.

At this point there is no other choice Nolan. And yes, Coast.
