But... now we will get a new board and a new coach, but they won't be able to start a new cycle from the day 1, but from the second Season.

It means that a new coach will have to play with current players, and a bunch or questionable youngsters.

Anyway, an awesome news, but a new board and a new coach will still fell the consequences from this board's mess, for at least 1 year.

Let's hope that D. Suarez and Samper will turn into something.
And Rakitic will have at least one more Season to prove himself under a different coach.
(We can't go into a new cycle with Busi-Xavi-Iniesta again)

I think this will be the best, as the new coach will get the time to know our shortcomings. Lets see.

Amazing news. Even if things are a disaster on the pitch for the rest of the season its good to know that the club will be back in competent hands once again at the end of the season. Fair play to Bartomeu for actually listening to the fans and calling an election. It's obviously something he should be doing anyway but it really looked like we'd be stuck with this board till 2016 which would have been disastrous for the club.

They still left a gift for the new board tho: the transfer ban.

The new board won't be able to make any transfer next summer. That's why their new coach choice will be VERY important.

Hate him or hate him.....Bartomeu has done what's best for the club and none of us thought he would ever do that. Despite the obvious lies he was always going to tell (saying barca is strong under him as president - he can't say anything else as it wouldn't bode well for HIS election chances) but he came across in that press conference full of class, and without admitting it, I could feel he felt a bit sorry for the situation. The main thing though, he has done what was best for the club, best for the fans and now the members have an opportunity to get Laporta back. I don't like him, but credit where it's due, well done Bartomeu, for once.
