Can you see Munir and Sandro replacing anyone upfront for us for long period?

Not until Messi and Surez dip their form drastically, AND if they turn out to be good enough.

But again, that's exactly why Coman has been getting more minutes, because Robbery had been out, right?

Ribery and Robben wont be able to play a full season without injuries anymore. They will miss games, that's a sure thing. Signing a replacement was necessary for Bayern.
Costa and Coman are not only future signings, they are signings for this season. Pep will play both of them, even if Ribery and Robben are in full shape.

On the other hand, we dont need any replacement for Messi, Suarez and Neymar. If those three's are in full shape. They will play. We just need proper back ups. Those three upfront will be able to play at least for the next 2-3 years or longer.
Question is, whether Munir and Sandro will be happy to come from the bench and just be back ups. Question is, whether this will help their development or they will get impatient and ask to leave.

This is not the case regarding Costa and Coman.
This is what I wanted to point out.

I don't disagree with what you said there at all, and that's what I have been saying all along. Because of MSN, Munir and Sandro will remain just backups. That's just the way it is, sure it is bad for them personally. But what can be done? Selling them? Loaning them? The fact they play second fiddle to MSN doesn't mean they are not good enough, in my opinion.

Hope springs eternal.
But yeah, crazy to expect anybody else to win it, maybe BVB in a year or two but it was never going to be anything other than a stroll for Bayern.

Not exactly. Coman e.g. played with Götze on the bench - or Tuesday instead of Robben. Even if Guardiola has special preferences for the bigger matches he seems to do something at Bayern he did not do in that quality at Barcelona - he shares match time evenly (when possible and the players are available) between about 16 players. There is some like e.g. Rode, Dante, now Kimmich, Shaqiri when he was still in Munich who were more often second choice - but not the rest.

Pep had Robben on the bench on Tuesday and Vidal. And played Coman. He could have played Costa on his usual left side and one of Vidal/Robben could have played wing or right 8.

Coman even surprised me more than Costa did. There are a lot dribblers who can beat their man - but a lot of them just lack the end product and they often act like headless chicken - much action but a lot ball losses as they do not calculate when to take risks or there is no end product. For such a young age he uses his head already very well - and that he already performs so good in that team without having much preparation shows that the team can handle that but shows that he can adapt very fast.

Hope springs eternal.

I still do not go with that word "stroll". It is not without effort but hard work. Pep phrased it on Tuesday that the team works without the ball like a "little team". There is usually no complacement. You can see a 34-year-old Alonso still go in duels in minute 70 when you lead comfortable with 3:0 in a Cup match and the next match is Friday night. And that is the difference to some of the other big teams in Europe right now - and to some in the Bundesliga. Nobody can deny that Bayern has the better team and the better players - but that difference to e.g. Dortmund is maybe the 3 points of the direct duel - but the other four they have because they took two matches against smaller teams for granted...

Let's not pretend Bayern are actually 7 points better than Dortmund this season. Despite a thrashing in the direct confrontation they are not. The difference between Bayern vs Augsburg and Dortmund vs Darmstadt or Hoffenheim? Yep, you know it and it's not about taking things for granted. Some teams get 'it' while others do not. Bundeslol trying too hard to emulate La Liga.

Bayern will continue to build on those 7 points until they will become 15 or so. Eventually, they will be pretty sure of the title by march. Then they will relax and start resting players for the CL and in the end they'll win the Bundesliga by around 6-8 points clear of the 2nd place.

I think Guardiola did not make Robben the starter on Tuesday out of caution as they might want to slowly bring him back.

Would you agree a fully recovered Robben on the right and Douglas Costa on the left would significantly reduce Coman's minutes? He will still get minutes but not as many as recently (granted he would have played more minutes if Coman wasn't injured himself)?

A good night for Bundesliga. Bayern drawed the 12th place Eintracht Frankfurt, 0:0. Not as bad as some folks believe.
