Well, Reus, Mickey, Kuba, Gündogan, Sahin and even Kehl are all injured while Hummels only got back now. So after their bad luck with their defense last season, their whole CM and most of their wingers are now crippled. So really no too big a surprise there.

I am also not liking the notion that Klopp has seemed to lost a bit of his tight grip on the players.
