Ramon Diaz returns as coach, replacing Almeyda, who stepped down this weekend.

Sounds like something of a desperate move by Passarella...Diaz hasn't been successful in a decade. But he's a legend whose 90's River was the best in the continent. At the very least this means the fans should unconditionally support the team for a while.

I'm not a fan of attempts to bring back the past like this, but they wanted an experienced manager who knows River and believes in attacking football, so...
