According to the youtuber Dani Pardo's exclusive info, who follows and films the construction work daily since the beginning, Limak will do a technichal handover of the stadium to Laporta on April 23rd, with the gass laid and player/presidential zone finished.

Hope they install chimneys too

So there are numerous reports that Socis are selling their tickets to the Copa final. Just like they did against Frankfurt.

I have been saying for a while now that the Socis are a huge huge problem with the club.

A big portion of them just use their membership for financial gain and don't really give two shits about the club. At best they turn up to the big games and sell their tickets for the rest. The percentage of Socis that turn up to at least 80 percent of games is tiny.

The Socis system needs completely flushing out. Preferably a start from scratch. A member owned club is great in theory, but when those members are snakes in the grass it does more damage than good. You may as well sell the club to Musk.

Not sure how this gets solved as Laporta has to go against those whose votes he relies on, but people are dreaming if they expect us to ever have a proper atmosphere, even in the New Camp Nou, with Socis like these rats.

That's definitely a problem, but a very difficult one to solve. The socio system doesn't need to be changed, the ticketing needs to be. These are two different things.
Many socios are old, too old even to go to the stadium. Many simply use their decades old season ticket to improve their pension.
And if these people die, it goes to their close relatives, who don't necessarily care about football, but still hold on to it to make money. To sell the clasico ticket already returns you the price of the entire season ticket.

The idea behind reselling the tickets is obviously not to make money, but first of all to keep the stadium filled even if you can't attend the games and secondly, invites to become a season ticket holder without the schedule pressure. The club needs to go after the people only doing it for money.

But taking away their rights to resell tickets, will also have an overall decline of the socios as a result and the club obviously doesn't want that either. There should be some middle ground.

Why not require a personal attendance of minimum 80% or something like that of all games? That shouldn't be too much to ask for. If you're too old or unable to attend due to health reasons then you can relinquish the ticket itself to your kids/spouse/sibling/grandchildren.

If you cannot even make that then let someone that's actually in the waiting list and want to attend the games get the season ticket.

The waiting list is over 10k.

If I'm not wrong some German clubs like Borussia Dortmund and Bayern have something similar.

The final is in Cartuja.

Is the final even included in the season ticket? More likely first choice balloting right?

For a socio to bid, buy and resell the ticket. Well its possible, but it has its risk.

Something similar to that yes, they're first-in-line I believe.

AFAIK Club have already warned that if you re-sell it to someone else they will cancel the ticket itself and not allow you to enter.

It's difficult to stop. Usually they only deliver the e-ticket 24/48 hours before KO to try and stop re-sales.

But in the end, if the reselling platforms exist to build the buyer/seller trust, then there is not much more you can do.

Laporta won't go against socios who vote for him and he showed many times that he doesn't care about atmosphere in the stadium. In fact he in actively working against fans for 20+ years.

Laporta goes against hooligans, not fans. It's not a trend in Spain exclusive only to FC Barcelona, but Spain overall since some retarded fanhood murders took place in late 90's. Similar to England.

There was a fan killed in fan clashes as recent as 2014 (deportive vs Atletico games).
