Chelsea, by contrast, had a clear advantage on expected goals.

Though, it doesn't matter too much, City were clearly in control until the last few minutes of the 2nd leg, xG has its limitations.

RM fans shit on him for half the year for KCM and thought they would get obliterated in KOs, but he ended up beating the 4 other best teams in the world in one CL run.
