Yeah, we played that formation all last season.

I don't think we will get Eto'o anyway, but if we did I think that they would each play in the games most suited to their abilities. Santa Cruz would play against the weaker teams who put all their players behind the ball.
Eto'o would play against teams that push up the pitch, as he could exlpoit the space behind their defence.

Not many midfielders as we have Barry, Ireland and De Jong.

The defenders we've been linked with are Joleon Lescott, Kolo Toure, Luisão and Maicon's agent has said we are after him too.

Ireland is a very good player. Barry should be good for you. I haven't seen De Jong yet, next season I will.

De Jong is a Makelele type player. Good at defending but doesn't offer much going forward.

If Ireland plays as well as last season and we get Tevez and Eto'o, we should be going for at least top 4 imo.

We were actually one of the top 3 or 4 teams at home last season. That just shows how poor our away form was.

Hughes is buying players who are proven in the Premier League and know how to perform away form Eastlands, so I'm quite optimistic for next season. (can you blame me?)
