Galliani is wasting his time by meeting Tevez and his agent again. He has a deal agreed with them already, its a deal with City he needs to do to make the move happen.

Well...they also had a video conference with City and have submitted an improve offer (loan with option to buy which becomes an obligation if he plays a certain amount of games)

p.s. - He is on 'vacation'

It still seems to me to be the wrong move when its Man City he has to be dealing with. That said, these pictures may be worth it. My only interest in Tevez was how much it wound up Inter, from a footballing point of view his signing was really just gilding a lilly of Milan's already potent attack. In this sense its mission accomplished, it wound them right up, to the extent that they are now trying to sign him again, even though they can't afford to. Better still they may yet still sign him, just to spite Milan back, which would be great, because it means they can't afford any players they actually need, but also have the ignominy of having a player that preferred to play for Milan, and that picture becomes priceless.

Galliani is an admirable troll.

it's like he's Schroedinger's Troll and we're still inside the box. right now he's trolling Inter but he's also trolling Milan by not signing any fucking fullbacks.

Well, sadly, Milan don't seem to regard the full back positions as needing improvement, not pressingly anyway - which it is. Or, more likely they realise that having the likes of crap like Antonini on stupidly high wages means we can't get rid of them to anyone else, so have to stick with them.

The only reason Antonini is still in Milan is because he adds towards our CL players from the youth team quota....

Would have much rather had guys like Strasser and Merkel filling that tbh...

RISK TEVEZ

Negotiations for the Argentinian have become more and more like an international intrigue.

Milan 24 - Galliani's proposal: loan with right to purchase at 24 million which is related to the sale of Pato or Robinho. Have the yes from Carlitos.
Inter 25 - Moratti authorizes Branca to relaunch for the Argentinian: loan with the obligation to buy at 25 million.
PSG 35 - The French variable: Paris Saint Germain's sheiks to offer 35 million for immediate purchase.

TEVEZ-MILAN: INTERNATIONAL INTRIGUE

From Moratti is the OK to the 25 million. Galliani is annoyed while here come PSG.
The Argentinian is training and in a hurry to close. Could have played already in Coppa Italia.
City need the money for De Rossi and the Rossoneri still have the advantage in this auction.

Milan - Five hours of talking with Milan and then the phone call from Inter. It was such a strange Thursday in Brazil for Carlitos Tevez who was alongside with Adriano Galliani in Rio de Janeiro to try to close with the English club. Even more strange is the effect of Inter who have raided the dialogue between Milan and City with the 25 million offer after the bliz from Marco Branca to London. The Inter technical director was able to find the backing from Inter President Massimo Moratti yesterday during a meeting at Pinetina. Then lastly, there is even Paris Saint Germain which complete the entire story.

The auction Sheikh Mansour at Manchester City is handling the sale of his striker with a textbook strategy. Mancini wants to hold an auction for the higest possible price in order to have the funds to immediately take Roma's De Rossi. But the club in Corso Vittorio Emanuele is back in the game and after the premature exit of Juventus for Tevez, it is clear that Inter are the best alternative in Serie A which is the chosen league of the Apache.

The firmness The will of Tevez is still Milan and the trip to Rio de Janeiro proves his choice. That picture full of smiles at the restaurant called Gero in Ipanema is the manifestation of a common will and not only that. The conference call with City's executive chairman, John McBeath, did the rest. Milan took the opportunity to formalize its new proposal, entirely new: free loan with right to purchase at 24 million related to the sale of one of the Rossoneri strikers. Galliani has agreed to buy Tevez permanently before August 31 (this summer) if Pato or Robinho changes shirt in the summer. Leonardo has been lurking around Pato for quite sometime now and this where the clause comes in. But it's true that the moves by Inter have greatly complicated the plans of the Rossoneri and Adriano Galliano does not hide his annoyance.

The phone call So what does Tevez say about this? Well, at least he is surprised. Especially in the light of the call arrived at the end of the meeting with Milan. Marco Branca, after the conversation on Wednesday, called Kia Joorabchian and informed him of the offer given to City. Tevez then flew back to Buenos Aires with his girlfriend Vanesa to continue working and training hard for his new team.

The race In his new residence, he has all the conditions to train at his best. In the morning he jogs on the bench and then to the guy for more intense workouts. The training is scheduled with his personal trainer to become fit as soon as possible. In the meeting with Galliani he said that he is ready to take the field already mid January and there is also a specific date: January 18. That is when Milan will play against Novara at the San Siro for the Coppa Italia. We also need to point out that the Nerazzurri will be on the same field in the same competition a day later against Genoa.

The reserve Tevez wants to test the true extent of the recent attacks by Inter. Given that Carlitos is not interested in French solution, now he has to deal with a new solution. In fact, the proposal from Inter is the more favorable for City. More than one more million and Moratti's formula is that he has to pay the 25 million in the summer. Nevertheless, Galliani does not change his cards on the table. He cannot spend more especially if this is just a bluff by Inter. So the offers from the Milanese clubs stand as they are. And with them, McBeath will give his response between Monday and Tuesday and only then, new cards would be played.

The revival For Inter, precaution is in order. Branca has the mandate to spend 25 million but not getting involved to much in this auction. So Inter right now are just kind of feeling the pulse of the player and with the return of Kia Joorabchian in Europe shortly after the weekend, things will be more clear. The risk of a fiery derby does not suit anyone which is why Inter prefer to move under the spotlights. It is true that last summer Inter were in advanced talks with Tevez but today, he has a strong agreement with Milan. So nothing can be taken for granted. The late resurgence of Inter proves that Massimo Moratti wants to spend again. Those 25 million for Tevez in any case would be immediately invested for an alternative target of equal level.

Eh? This is typical of him, have enough dinners with the player until the club has no choice.

It really amazes me that clubs haven't started trying to protect against him yet, it's been getting them bargains for years.

Not sure if this trick works this time. From the media it looks like that Milan is miles ahead of the others in signing Tevez, but it's far from the truth. Both Inter and PSG have better offers for him than Milan and Joorabchian never said that Tevez don't want to join Inter. He just said Tevez wants to join Milan because he hasn't heard from Inter since August. But now with Inter coming back for him it will be a different story. The recent rumors say that Inter may even raise their offer to 27m.

he was only worth 20 million my opinion, so paying 5 extra for that cunt was a tragedy but this pic has cost inter 2 more tragic millions. trolling at its best.

TEVEZ: BLUFF AND RAISES
RAISING INTER, AXIS MLAN-CARLITOS

Moratti is ready to offer more than the 24 million from the Rossoneri.
Milan, however, are waiting to make a move...

25 million offered by Inter for Tevez already in January.
24 million offered by Milan to buy Tevez in June.
35 million offered by PSG to buy all of Tevez now.

Milan - Manchester City have not made any announcement but everything is leading one to believe that the English club is determined to reject this "fantastic" offer, as described by Galliani, sent from Milan after the meeting on Thursday in Rio with the Apache. So what now? Inter are walking the walk as they are ready to formalized the offer of free loan with an obligation to purchase at 25 million euros. Massimo Moratti has authorized Inter technical director Marco Branca to move and everything leads one to believe that things will happen between today and tomorrow.

New hand Just like in a poker game at the table with four contenders, so far City have gotten a hand to play and wath all the events unfolding themselves between Inter, Milan and Paris Saint Germain. So in this virtual challenge of nerves, who has the best cards in hand? The certainty is that this week (the one that leads to the derby) will clarify the real force on the field.

Milan At this time, the Rossoneri are at risk of being overtaken by Inter as the favorite to land Tevez but in Via Turati, they are still thinking positively. It is not a coincidence that Galliani is avoiding making public statements and controversy with Inter but the fact is that he doesn't like this late resurgence of Inter. Milan still feel a strong support of the player while Inter have yet to open talk with him and his agents despite recent calls from Branca to Kia Joorabchian, the player's agent.

The dialogue The representatives of Tevez are still in Sau Paolo waiting for news from City to regulate what to do next. Meanwhile, Carlitos continues to train hard in Buenos Aires and has his own count down. Zlatan Ibrahimovic today after the game in Bergamo said that: "If we get Tevez, we will help him score too." Flattery techniques of convincing the player but there is economic aspect that needs to be considered.

Moratti Meanwhile, Inter are doing their own evaluations. They are clear that they would not enter into any bidding war. One thing is to make life difficult for the cousin, and another is to enter into an auction that could be bloody. Let's be clear Inter will increase the budget but not very much. Both Inter and Milan have their own weapons to put psychological pressure on each other. So right now, it is only right to continue following the next steps with great caution. Despite Manchester City continue pressing PSG to be involved, Argentinian's entourage is very clear: "Carlitos has no intention of playing in the French league. He wants to come to Italy." And that is, at least, the one certainty in all of this.

TEVEZ: "LET'S TALK!"

Another derby as there is not only the game on Sunday evening.
From Inter an email to City: 27 million for Carlitos.

800rv.jpg

EMAIL FROM MORATTI
DERBY FOR TEVEZ IS NOW ALIVE

From Inter is the 27 million, an agreement with City would come at 30?
But Milan have one more reason to resist.

Milan - As expected yesterday, an email started it all. Starting at the hour of 5:00 pm in the evening on January 10, Manchester City and Inter have officially started negotiations to acquire the Argentinian on loan with an obligation to buy. Carlitos Tevez has begun to heat up these pre-derby days. It has now begun.

You again Monday In all of the rumors, there is one that keeps circulating which is Tevez does not want to come to Inter. That is one rumor that wasn't confirmed by Inter and even in the words of his agent, Kia Joorabchian. Last night, he had a chat with Inter technical director Marco Branca confirming the arrival of the official proposal and the appointment in a few days to evaluate everything. The parties feel that Monday, after the derby, would be a good day and in the meantime, Branca and Brian Manwood will continue discussing their strategies.

If Pato leaves... But Milan are certainly not here to twiddle their thumbs especially since the acceleration of PSG on Alexandre Pato is serious stuff. It is clear that with the transfer of the Brazilian to France, the money would steer Milan on the right track back to Tevez. Meanwhile, Galliani is studying another proposal which could be a free loan with conditional purchase if by August 31, one of his strikers in Pato and Robinho leaves then Milan will buy the Argentinian striker.

Figures Inter have made its move: with the email sent to City, Moratti has confirmed the figures of this deal, 25 million euros plus bonuses which should add about 2 more million to the fixed cost. The formula, as widely reported, is loan with an obligation to buy in June. Massimo Moratti has been an admirer of Tevez for years and speculations suggest that with a phone call, Moratti could unlock the situation. Inter and City will continue hearing from each other but it is normal to think that the figure launched by Inter could have its own retouches.

Figures with retouches? Last summer, Corinthians even offered 40 million euros for the Apache and it is also conceivable that Tevez could be worth more than the 27 million total placed on the plate by the Nerazzurri. So here are the scenarios that could open up: City want to push as high as 35 million. Despite the desire and how "this is not a joke", Inter are not willing to jump over the 30 million mark and that could be the meeting point for these two clubs.

Let's talk In short, we are in the heat of the derby. Milan are there as well as Inter. One thing seems certain: having just learned from the interest of Inter, Tevez said: "Okay, let's talk." And this would be discussed. As a matter of fact, there's so much to talk about.
