Next weeks game should be very intense. Bring it on.

We really do settle these copa matches in the first leg. All games bar the Atletico one last season were sealed after the first leg.

It's looking like a repeat will happen. We should retain the title. Abit of luck in then draw along the way maybe.

I know why they played this way . They Suck and they truely believed they are good . They honestly blieved they can pull it off laying down on the ground for 20 minutes . I'm glad we taught them a lesson

Nice to see Messi so aggressive
Arda is magic , fits perfectly

What a bastard team Espanyol is. For the first time I wish the worst thing that could happen to a footballer to them. FUCK them!

He can go get his leg twisted in a compound fracture. Then we shall see who draws blood.

I am actually quite worried about next week's game against these bastards, from what I read (their post-game interviews etc) these thugs want to hurt us badly next week. They really want blood now after the post-game skirmish.

Please no injuries. Please.

Lucho should leave Messi and Neymar on the bench.

Just saw the game, fucking Espanyol. Keeper was the worst out of all of them for me.
-Shame Suarez didnt finish that last chance.
- nice debut by Arda and Vidal, great to ahve more depth
- Goat Messi with a terrific freekick, motm for me followed by Iniesta and Neymar.
- For the return rest the front 3, Iniesta and Alves, no need to risk them vs these thugs, 4-1 should be enough.
- fuck espanyol.

Isn't this Dioaf guy actually liable for some sort of physical threats offense, at least on federation of football level. Shit like that sometimes get attention of police forces, if a potential victim makes a claim. He tries to be ambiguous, but being an oaf, can't, so his tweet looks pretty much like a street thug's taunt.

On a side note - whenever there's Rakitic on the field it's he and only he, who should execute corners. Only danger that ever emerges from our abysmal corner routines are, when he takes them. Neymar may have learned to bend it, but he has zero imagination and precision in them. I don't get why we even try to launch air balls into box this season. Not a single goal or even key pass, if i'm not mistaking. + danger of counter attack. The reason why Pep almost never allowed to make crosses from corners.

Neymar is actually pretty good at corners, at Brazil he really takes them well too. We just lack aerial threats. We have like 4 players on the pitch usually taller than 180 cm, Suarez, Rakitic, Pique and Busquets.
Last two are tall but suck at heading, Rakitic often takes the corner and Suarez never headed in a corner for us neither.

That is true, which is why Rakitic's more dangerous from them for us. He varies different types, like making low or semi-low croses, with or without swerve et al, which means that even without aerial threat, danger can be created. Like the good ol' low and super powerful crosses of Roberto Carlos that made havoc in the box like a pinball ball. Neymar is 100% predictable and none of our tall guys sans Mathieu can figure out how to score a header.

Espanyol are and have always been a bunch of twats and they do it because it's the only way they get coverage. Nobody cares about them, their game is hideous, so are their results the only attention they are getting is because they've surpassed Cholo's Atletico's butcher style. Back when they had Tamudo they could at least draw us consistently(I still shiver when I remember that little fucker).

I really hope we put a nail in their coffin en route to Segunda, at Camp Nou with a 5-0

Man!! What a game! Espanyol couldn't see the bal and was naught making fouls all the time.

But i AM happy that arda fits the team very well. Ini was great as always.

Messi got back to his best, first perfect and god-a-like game for him since last injury! Yeaah!!

Neymar was espetacular and show-man of the day!!. He even created more chances tran Messi but Suárez three and Messi one time couldn't score.

Vidal was so so. But seems better than our other RB substitutes

Just finished watching the game, was on a plane earlier .. this is really going too far, it's not football anymore.

Now watch the madrid press talk about the expulsions and bla bla bla.

Too bad the 4-1 lead is not high enough to field the B team entirely, but this arseholes of espanyol should really get some treatment.

Honestly I've never been able to get that into the rivalry or hostility towards Espanyol, but wow after that game, it is easy to despise them. What the fuck is wrong with them?? That was some of the dirtiest and most disrespectful play I've ever seen. That went beyond a game. I can understand diving and other gamesmanship, but this was just brutality without purpose.

It's scary that we have to go there next week. I hope the ref can try to keep things calm.
