Good lineup bar Roberto.. Midfield lacks creativity although the team as a whole is solid and we should win

(Hopefully we can see Rakitic in an advanced role for once)

Its not a good line up. Midfield lacks creativity yes. Alves is terrible. Sergio roberto is average at best. Msn isnt working well together. Bravo is our best goalkeeper.

Why would the players sabotage the game like that? What's the benefit for that. Our problem was the board and they announced the elections . If Lucho wins the silverware for us- there's no problem. if he loses the new board will kick him out anyways. I just don't dig this type of mentality.

It is not like we have have worst squad in europe too. We are still in top 5 or 6 imo, so with some luck and proper defensive tactics we might reach the final. Argentina in the world cup was a good example. They had a stellar attack but still they played defensively and reached the final, same case with barca right now. The problem is we have too much pride to play like that, i think that is a big problem. We are not winning matches/trophies or playing good football. We should at least have the pleasure of one of those things.

About not having good defenders to establish that style i don't think that is true exactly. Many average defenders look like goats in a conservative style when they have good defensive mid like masch. Mathieu Bartra and Pique as the 3 center backs would be good. We don't need to play like every match but we should at least try it in some matches and see how it goes. One or two matches is not enough.

But the probleme, barca is not chlesea or AM or Dortmund. We have our philosophy to play football and this is our strength. When chelsea has won the CL everybody have said that this team is the shit because she didn't win this competition with an spectacular football. Who still remember and talks about the inter milan when they have won the CL, nobody. But everyone remembers the Dream team of barca when she won the CL.

So i can understand your idea and that can be a solution for our many present problem, but i remain convinced that our philosophy should not be changed for any reason. I always said, all the winners enter in the history but we remember only legends.

We are looking like SHIT. Seriously, absolute chaos. Yea, players worth half a billion euros scored against last team on table at home, but this is awful...

Elche is so poor. First goal took some time as always, but after that it is just a free passage. Even against that weak team i am worried that our midfielders create almost nothing, everything done by the forwards.
