Fuck right off.

You don't know the whole story, so don't talk crap about something you know nothing about.

Yes but we've put that behind us now, =]. Hopefully Snyde wont be back, and we can all move forward as a forum. So back onto Celtic!...What do you make of your chances against Arsenal? Do you think you stand a good chance against what, tbh, is on paper a quite weak Arsenal side apart from Fabregas and Van Persie...? Do you think that maybe Arsenal need to lose this game against Celtic in order to come 4th in the premiership this year? Theoretically, the shock of losing and not qualifying for the CL could give them the kick up the arse that they need SO badly.....conversely it could turn them into Leeds Utd,.

I do generally like Scottish teams to do well in Europe so I do want Celtic to overthrow Arsenal and get into the group stages. The Scottish co-effecient is going down which is a worry because we don't have enough quality to get it back up.

The fact you say I'm racist shows you didn't read the thread.

It had nothing to do with you anyway.

Out this thread you go.

Catalan sports paper El 9 Esportiu claims that Celtic Glasgow has joined the race for Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (30).

Gudjohnsen has reportedly been informed that he can look for another club because Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola isn't counting on him for next season.

Because he doesn't want to spend another year on the bench, Gudjohnsen would be willing to leave. Several English Premier League clubs are believed to have shown interest in the Icelandic player but the salary offers are a lot less than his current earnings, which would block a transfer.

Gudjohnsen is nevertheless said to be willing to listen to offers and after the team has returned from the United States, the player would start negotiations with West Ham and Celtic Glasgow, although he plans to wait as long as possible to make a decision. Barcelona would want to get a transfer fee of 5 million euro.

An English club would obviously be his first choice.

Celtic is his last resort.

For 5 million euro he would be a bargain.

Yeah and Hull are huge.

The majority of players would play for a team in the top 15 of the EPL than Celtic or Rangers.

blue duck i think you should stick to the man shitty thread (manchesters no.2 team thread). all you do here is try to start arguments. you are so immature. as i hav said before EVERY set of supporters in the world hav a section of morons who dont care about the reputation of the club. they are NOT real supporters. if celtic didnt exist they would attach themselves to another organization in order to start trouble. i think everyone here would agree. its unfortunate and cowardly that someone would throw a brick anywhere near a child but that stuff happens when alot of people gather at the same place for nearly any event. and btw on a celtic forum the father of the child posted a comment clarifying correctly that celtic fans in general are not to blame bu one moron or one small group of morons. this is an email sent to a celtic fan from the childs father.

Hi Thanks for sorting my account out.

First I would just like to say a massive thank you to all Celtic fans who have sent kind messages about my son. We really apreciate it.

On saturday after the game we were walking towards the ASDA carpark when the trouble broke out. Bottles and large stones were thrown from both sets of fans. We were caught right in the middle.

We made a dash for it and as we left the gate another group of young celtic "fans" threw more stones at us. One of the stones hit my three year old son right on top of his head. The stone was the size of half a house brick maybe a little smaller

His head was cut open and we had to take him to hospital where he had seven paper stitches. He was released from hospital later that night

He is totaly fine , but shaken from what happened.

There has been alot of discussion around all footy forums about what happened to my son, some of it has been twisted as second hand news often does. Thats why I came on here to tell you what really happened,

In no way do I blame Celtic fans for this. The people who did this are not football fans and im sure you will agree that they do not represent the real fans of Celtic FC.

The support from you lot on saturday was outstanding. I had good banter with every Celtic fan I met.

It was just a shame that the Drunk kids outside had to ruin the day.

you are welcome back to Manchester anytime.

We have been offered visit Celtic FC as guests and we will be doing this . . cant wait.

Good luck to celtic this season

Andy

sensible guy and a real football fan unlike the man-child that is blueduck. also nice to see that he has been invited upto celtic park with his son. also note that bricks were thrown by small sets of BOTH "supporters" so i think youre point has now been invalidated blueduck and you have proved to everyone on this forum that you are indeed a man-child. hail hail

I have been to Parkhead and I have to admit the atmosphere is great. I never got to sing You'll Never Walk Alone we didn't arrive in time, right at the start, 1st minute but was impressed. I was in the Jock Stein stand which had a great view, great seats but the stairs were almost vertical, unbelievably surreal.

If you actually check the facts, Celtic fans were the ones who started all the brick throwing at the ASDA car park. He has posted more info on a city forum since, which gives the whole picture.

Anyway I've had enough of talking about Celtic.
