It's good too see him finally have good games on a constant basis.

Tito has certainly done something right, as he doesn't stick out like a sore thumb anymore. He looks much more focused, his vertical play has improved quite a bit and he actually finally looks like a La Masia product.

Well done.
Could always see his La Masia background when he was at Arsenal with his passes and vision.

Yes, but, that's not what I actually meant.

What I meant was that he seems more integrated into the team and resembles his team-mates more than he did during his first season. He seems to finally have gotten to grips with how our team functions and he has become an intricate part in the well-oiled mechanism that is our current team.

The thing I love so much about Cesc is his relentless intent on attacking. At ALL times he is scanning upfield looking for the next move to get close to goal, whether it be a through ball or a run. He's always making great runs towards the goal, and always looking for those runs from the forwards, who he hit can hit with a long ball over the top (like the one to Villa) or with a searing ground pass.

This is why Cesc is so productive and dangerous... he wastes no time. His natural ability is a killer instinct all around attacker. He can hit the perfect pass, make the perfect run AND take a great shot. What he has learned to pick up is how to keep the tiki taka flow going smoothly with the team. I'm glad to see Cesc doing so well, I knew he would eventually. He's only going to keep improving from here.

Interesting to consider that even a La Masia born/bred player has needed a lot of time to integrate into this historical side...Perhaps more patience needs to be used in foreign buys as well...Yes, Alexis, we mean you

first of all, he went to england when he was 16, so this is totally different. and the other thing is that he has always been more of a direct play and thirdly, he harly played any 11v11 games in his days at la masia, more 5 or 6 aside games.

alexis??? really? did you mean song? alexis is the perfect fir for the system, i don't know any other striker who could play all 3 roles in attack as he does. his only mistake atm is that he has become a real injury prone. and thats sad. so remove that 'we' in your post, cuz i don't belong there, as doesn't many here.

Can't have it both ways...He has this unspoken/innate connection with Leo & has played with La Roja all along yet England is solely responsible for his lack of integration?

I agree it has factored into it but it merely underscores how much even a player who was schooled, no debating this point (Regardless of age or how many a side), in the Barcelona way of football still was getting lost out on the pitch...This from a person who is allegedly world class

Alexis isn't integrated otherwise he'd own his role in this squad and wouldn't have everyone praying he scores out there...Tito has commented on it and anyone who has paid attention can plainly see the player has some confidence issues integrating...The same player who has given himself a 5/10 in terms of progress so far

So, the we (As in most) applies...You, on the other hand, have a different metric for judging yet without much in the way of supporting arguments

you just answered you own initian question there ;) now he needs to improve his playing another 9 players in barca which in my opinnion he has done very well this season. he has improved a lot, much better player in overall to fit in barca system than he was last year.

alexis did start over villa in the clasico when he was still fit and played in nr9. he played in the first clasico, on the wing and benched pedro. he came off the bench and scored when barca lost 1-2 and looked toothless up front. he played in all 3 positions vs betis in one game and scored a very important goal there. i really could not find any better played outside la masia who could fit so well to the system up front. now wonder pep fell in love with him. like i said, his only mistake is that he is an injury prone.

now if you want to talk about players who realy don't fit into the system lets talk about alex song. he was a beast in england last season, most assists and all that shit. isn't that great? what about his speed of thought?

Great start to the season so far by Cesc, just like last year, tore up the first 4 months of the year. Let's hope he keeps it going all season this year. Expecting 20+ goals and 25+ assists.
