Sevilla could certainly drop the bombshell against us, not because they're a better team (they're not), but simply because we play in a same league, which makes any freak incidents absolutely possible.

But I don't really give them any chance against United or Chelsea, abolutely not. Same for Bordeaux and CSKA, Beastov do you really think they could shock the world against teams like Barca, United or Chelsea, who almost never under perform against so called "underdogs"? I mean, yes - Bordeaux won 4 times against Juve and Bayern, but don't you agree that they're not as much consistent and reliable teams like Utd, Chelsea or Barca. Certainly not a same level here.

I think it will still be about Utd, Chelsea (if they eliminate Inter) and Barca at the end, and maybe Arsenal/Bayern, if they are lucky on the draw.

In my opinion, Bayern and Arsenal don't have a chance against Utd, Chelsea or Barca, but they do have against Inter. So, if Inter kick out Chelsea tonight, many teams should be happy.

As someone who try to watch as much football over the weekend in several European leagues (comes with the territory of doing this for so long and having kids which put your weekend on house arrest ) i'd say Bordeaux is a team to watch from .
they are very consistent in the way they play the game , defend & attack like a unit (like the Seville of Juande Ramos ) , have an excellent keeper who is yet to concede a penalty kick in the French league (saved 7 out of 7 ) an excellent defense led by Ciani and the hyper active RB Chalme
Awesome experienced DM in Alou Diarra , and an impressive , talented ,accurate passer in Gourcuff .
powered by a talented header in Chamakh (80 % of his goals from the header this season ) and Cavanghi .

I will tell you every set piece for Bordeaux near the goal area of the other team is very dangerous (think Lyon back in the days with Juninho in his prime ) , they are very hard to score in .. really a team that could do serious damage led by the awesome and impressive Lolo Blanc .

last year they made quite an introductory impression in Europe sticking it to Chelsea and beating them
they year they wiped Juve & B Munich from their way and managed to qualify as first place team .

i'm not a fan of Bordeaux i actually cheer for L'OM but Bordeaux is the kind of team that could go places if they face a good draw and the other team underestimate them .

they remind me a lot of Porto Mourinho so watch out for them (providing of course they beat Olympiakos tomorrow in Bordeaux and they came from the away leg with a 1-1 scoreline )

I think it will be a draw tonight and Inter to go through.

Inter don't need Balotelli when they have Eto'o, Milito and Pandev.

This feeling is not something new for us, we had the same expectations about Lyon every year, when they were at their peak as a team. (with Juninho still on fire, with Malouda, Fred, Abidal and the others)

But how you know, the thing we waited for just never happened. Lyon were getting eliminated every time, when they had to play a top side. You posted a pretty good review on Bordeaux to us (thanx about the effort), but I'm not convinced. We'll see who is who very soon :)

I just don't see Inter losing with how they handled Chelsea in the first leg.

And let's be real. Balotelli is liable to break down in tears at any moment. The kid needs a hug.

Balotelli deserves whatever happens to him...He's gotta grow up and be a professional, this isn't the first time something like this has tarnished his image.

I gotta say, I'm a bit surprised by Mourinho's lineup - looks like he will start the match attacking

Sneaky Mourinho standing there and talking to Chelsea players before they come out to warm up .. mind games at it's best

I think of all the encounters for this matchday, it was the Inter vs Chelsea one I was most looking forward to watching

Don't understand why everyone's underestimating Inter. They 've a solid defense with WC strikers. They do suffer in midfield but with sneijder & cambiasso, they are a much better side. When they set out to defend , it's hard to break them down. Its not a given that we'll repeat the same result if we face them again. Mou is a great motivator and he knows to drill a winning mentality in these situations. KO round is a diff ball game and at this stage there really are no easy or tough draws. Every team is an equal threat. Not to forget Cup tournaments require a certain amount of luck.:D It all really depends on your own performance, tactics and luck and not what opposition you play on the day.

As for tonite's match, i dislike both teams. Can't be bothered who progresses.

I don't think anyone underestimating Inter Z , they have the upper hand and the stronger team

they have a barrier to break and their result tonight is important even to Serie A who will lose the 4 spot for the CL
