It's funny I think it was in this thread someone imagined Barcelona grouping with juventus and city and XMG replied with: "Now that's a group of death". Turns out it was madrid with the group of death! :D (except you guys have Dortmund instead of Juventus)

I'm confident City won't make it out of the group stage. Mancini isn't a good coach. His record in Europe and against big teams is horrific. Real will beat them in both games. Dortmund will beat them as well.

Obliterate? Really? City will be ecstatic with a draw. If they somehow manage to take the lead, they'll dig so deep that they won't reappear before the weekend.
But what if Mou and Cristina decide to leave the stadium in the middle of the game?

No problemo. They can still sub out 60 minute Zidane and bring in Cruyffdric. Also Karanka is the best assistant manager of all time.

Lot of subplots to City vs RM but I can't see Mou letting his team get rolled up at home - despite the situation they're in...Wholesale lineup changes and tactical change to go back to his roots - parking the bus and hoping to capitalize on a counter

Yaya vs Modric

Score draw, dislike both teams tbh.

I'm more excited for Juventus - Chelsea, that's going to be interesting to watch.

...when a cookie begins to crumble, it normally does so after a bite or two, but seeing a cookie crumbling on itself is a little strange....season has barely begun....and all seems to just fall apart for RM. this must have started somewhere at end of last season me thinks...and it is a wonderful feeling to behold at the moment. .....still though.....I just wished I knew what the cause was..

..it is rather sad than not for RM fans to have to go thru so much turmoil. well....their past couple of wins have been fewer than losses,...and even so, the fewest of the few were never really won in a sensational fashion anyways...it was more of the desperation call to do something different...win by any means possible just to save face. Copa was a hint of note to call a team...its just..well lacked proper follow up which is really what RM fans long for in a very long time now.

....its mystical sadness with more tears shud to come shud Mancini sneak a win tonight. For me, its all a bunch of casual RM players wishing for some magic at CL tonite, no way are they even close to City's form. ..but then again it's a different league the CL,...and it should be a good one to see if one team rises to the occassion. but I'm not praying for RM to clinch it, Aguero and Ballotelli are favourites to win things at SB...and there's no better way to love them scoring crazy than tonight...
