That's where I'd like to see the red card rule changed. The GK wasn't denying a goal scoring opportunity because a penalty was awarded.

Unless of course it was a dangerous challenge from the GK that was deserving a red regardless.

Arsenal had in the first 10 min. more clear chances than City had all match against us. Bayern looking shaky in defence.

Yeah the rule was followed, but it needs to be changed. The double punishment is unfair and ruins games.

I'd like a penalty decision for every last man tackle, regardless of it was outside the box or not. However not a red card, just a yellow.

This way, you don't punish the offensive team with a denial of a scoring chance, yet you also don't double punish the defensive team with a red card and a penalty.

Penalties can be missed, sitters 99% aren't.

He was denying a clear goal scoring opportunity AND he was challenging dangerously.
