He's killed the confidence of too many forwards for it to be a coincidence.
Like who?

CR has a go it's cuntiness Messi has a go it's a tense moment. I think they are both cunts.
I used to buy into the Saint Messi thing but no more. He's killed the confidence of too many forwards for it to be a coincidence. I see past it now. I still love the little guy, but I'm not blind to see that he has just as huge an ego as CR. He can just hide it better.

I agree, we all knew Messi was not a "saint" but a lot of stupid stuff said about him is BS too. I don't think either of them has a personality problem. Throwing up your arms in frustration (Ronaldo) is not having a go at somebody. They are both selfish and react badly in their own way, Ronaldo just has an inability to hide it + gets frustrated faster. Right now the Messi fans are pissed he is closing in on the record and are blaming him for playing this useless match. But they didn't say anything when Messi played a starter Copa Del Rey game vs Cordoba (something that never happens) just so he could extend/break the Muller record.
Honestly, I could've argued my point without bringing Messi into it, but everyone gets so tied up in knots here I just had to do it.
@catalinutz: I don't have a video but I think there was a game vs Granada (? the one where he passed Cesar) and he reprimands Cuenca directly + another match from some time ago where he gives Tello (he had a shot instead of passing to Messi) a stone cold stare that looked pretty threatening
Ibra, Pedro, Sanchez, Neymar. Can't you see it?
He should be more willing to play out wide more often.

He swallows up that whole area of the field and doesn't allow Barcelona to be dynamic in attack when we need to be. We are flat against sides who park the bus because our system refuses to spread the wealth for players who would thrive and score in that area of the pitch. For teams who park the bus, play Neymar/Sanchez up front and Messi out wide. It's not rocket science, yet somehow our coaches and players haven't figured this out yet? Right.
To think Messi is oblivious to this fact is absurd. He should be more willing to play out wide more often. We have become 1 dimensional in attack and teams have found a solid solution to defend against us. Blame who you want for that, but don't say Messi has absolutely no clue what's going on. If us as fans can see it, so can the players.
There are a lot of blind fan boys on here, but I'm not one of them.

He did not play 2nd fiddle to anyone. His ego ruined everything. He could not understand that there was someone better and that in barcelona, unlike the other teams he had played, he was not the center of the universa. As simple of that.Ibra is a superstar, and should have been treated as such, instead he was forced to play second fiddle to Messi.
Neymar nor Alexis were ever actually good goal scorers. Neymar racked up goals in the sao Paulo state league. If you gave Messi someone who is an actual goal scorer like Aguero, Suarez, etc then Messi would lead Europe in assists every season. Even with unreliable finishers, Messi has the same assists as Xavi...
