I am immensily happy we came this far, thought city would be too strong for us. Next stop is munich again, I just know it. If I am right, I Will seriously drink a glass of paint if we win.

Ibra, Pedro, Sanchez, Neymar. Can't you see it?

He swallows up that whole area of the field and doesn't allow Barcelona to be dynamic in attack when we need to be. We are flat against sides who park the bus because our system refuses to spread the wealth for players who would thrive and score in that area of the pitch. For teams who park the bus, play Neymar/Sanchez up front and Messi out wide. It's not rocket science, yet somehow our coaches and players haven't figured this out yet? Right.

To think Messi is oblivious to this fact is absurd. He should be more willing to play out wide more often. We have become 1 dimensional in attack and teams have found a solid solution to defend against us. Blame who you want for that, but don't say Messi has absolutely no clue what's going on. If us as fans can see it, so can the players.

There are a lot of blind fan boys on here, but I'm not one of them.

CR has a go it's cuntiness Messi has a go it's a tense moment. I think they are both cunts.

I used to buy into the Saint Messi thing but no more. He's killed the confidence of too many forwards for it to be a coincidence. I see past it now. I still love the little guy, but I'm not blind to see that he has just as huge an ego as CR. He can just hide it better.

I agree, we all knew Messi was not a "saint" but a lot of stupid stuff said about him is BS too. I don't think either of them has a personality problem. Throwing up your arms in frustration (Ronaldo) is not having a go at somebody. They are both selfish and react badly in their own way, Ronaldo just has an inability to hide it + gets frustrated faster. Right now the Messi fans are pissed he is closing in on the record and are blaming him for playing this useless match. But they didn't say anything when Messi played a starter Copa Del Rey game vs Cordoba (something that never happens) just so he could extend/break the Muller record.

Honestly, I could've argued my point without bringing Messi into it, but everyone gets so tied up in knots here I just had to do it. :D

@catalinutz: I don't have a video but I think there was a game vs Granada (? the one where he passed Cesar) and he reprimands Cuenca directly + another match from some time ago where he gives Tello (he had a shot instead of passing to Messi) a stone cold stare that looked pretty threatening

What makes Messi a cunt?

Again, there is nothing wrong with a player wanting to score, to compete, to play every game etc., no matter who the subject person is, Ronaldo or Messi. It is human nature. What separates Ronaldo from Messi is that the former lashes out at his teammates regularly whereas the latter doesn't. Attributing it to "hide it better" is not fair. We all have the tendency to commit crimes, but only a few do, can you say the rest of us are no better than the criminals because we "hide it better" or "contain it better"?

I don't think anybody is saying that Messi is a saint. Of course he is not. Nobody is. It is just that Ronaldo is way too temperamental, this coupled with the fact that he plays for Real Madrid, just annoys a lot of cules, naturally.

Ibra, Pedro, Sanchez, Neymar. Can't you see it?

Considering Pedro and Alexis are both doing brilliantly this season (as recently as last game), it's Neymar's first season and he's still been excellent except for the last few weeks, and Ibra repeatedly said he only left due to Pep and always praised Messi and looked great when he was at the club, no, I don't see it.

He should be more willing to play out wide more often.

He plays out wide when he needs to do, in fact he drifts out there in search of the ball pretty frequently. Clearly when he didn't play out wide he was told not to play out wide, do you really think any professional coach would tolerate a player going, "No! I don't wanna pway out wide!", best player in the world or not, no one could get away with acting like that.

Forgive me, but this is a whole lot of hot garbage. So Messi is responsible for other players missing good scoring option and was responsible for Ibra being a twat? Give me a break.

Ibra's problem was hes ego couldn't deal with being just another cog in a well oiled machine. He needed to be the guy. The rest of the players get served with multiple scoring chances per game and just waste them. It has nothing to do with Messi, and to suggest it is beyond absurd.

I guess Guardiola was a moron for deciding that it would be more efficient for the team to move Messi to the middle instead of having him on the wing. Even when the team had much better forwards than it has now.

The coaches and players can't figure it out, but Pepe Silvia from Barcaforum can. I mean no disrespect, but come on man.

What a facepalm PepeSilvia. Pepe...lol

Messi has countless key passes to those players. Some of the they score, most they don´t. I suggest you see the video at messi´s thread.
And what "killed" Ibra was his ego, nothing else. Mourinho said it right " i was happy in getting rid of Zlatan to Barcelona. A great player but impossible to cope in a team work rate strategy like i endorse without exceptions".

Serious? Messi, cunt? Most top players is selfish on the field in some way, and thats usually a very good thing if you Ask me. Weaker players should accept some irritation from mess/ron. Actually I wanted messi to be more bossy a period. Thats good. There are degrees of course, you cant do everything. But this is on the field.

Outside messi tries to act as a civilizated human beeing. That dosent mean he always thinks Nice things and so on, nobody does, people are full of shit in their thoughts, but he tries. Ronaldo is just arrogant, self centered, narcisistic, you know how it is " Ronaldo is first, second and third".

Messi is a pretty normal guy who sometimes boss on the field - which is good

Ronaldo is an arrogant prick who sometimes boss on the field - which is good

I knew you guys would make excuses.

Ibra is a superstar, and should have been treated as such, instead he was forced to play second fiddle to Messi. Maybe, just maybe Messi's ego had something to do with it too? Imagine if we had both Ibra AND Messi thriving together? The partnership would have been amazing.

I'm just trying to get others to think outside the box for a second. Just consider it for a second.

Pedro had the most terrible season for Barcelona last season yet he had an epic season with Spain. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.

Alexis has looked a shell of his former self. It's no mystery that his confidence has suffered the most being forced into a wide role. Some will say, well he is scoring and assisting and I would say hats off to the man he has conformed well and I applaud him for his efforts, but can you honestly say Barcelona Alexis is the same as Chile Alexis? Totally different levels of confidence. Do you think where he plays for Barcelona has something to do with his confidence issues? Some would say yes. I would be one of them. Spread the wealth Messi. Alexis would be triple the player for us if that happens.

The list goes on and on.

Villa. OMG the guy was a total stud then comes to Barcelona and becomes a guy who can't even hit the net for 20 some odd games straight? Gets yelled at by Messi, can't even play in his position ever. See a trend?

Now it's Neymar. He has the exact same look on his face these days that Alexis had last year and continues to have every so often. A look of frustration. Comes from Santos a complete beast of a goal scorer and now can't find the net if he tried. I'm not saying everything is Messi's fault I'm just saying there is something to it that people need to maybe consider. Messi is not totally innocent to all the above. Not completely at fault either, but not a saint to some of this stuff. It's too big a coincidence at this point.

Neymar nor Alexis were ever actually good goal scorers. Neymar racked up goals in the sao Paulo state league. If you gave Messi someone who is an actual goal scorer like Aguero, Suarez, etc then Messi would lead Europe in assists every season. Even with unreliable finishers, Messi has the same assists as Xavi...

He did not play 2nd fiddle to anyone. His ego ruined everything. He could not understand that there was someone better and that in barcelona, unlike the other teams he had played, he was not the center of the universa. As simple of that.
Instead of thinking outside the box you better think inside facts and common sense.

But messi is 26 and xavi 34 :p

Messi has about 170 assists between club and country. Not even Ozil or Ribery have that.

Oh wait, i´m a cunt.
