i agree. prior to when cavani took the CF role and took a dozen minutes to catch rhythm at it he was lost, he was the shits. even tho he tried.
however, when he took that role and lucas took the wing position i saw a PSG with better shape, better movement for the forwards, comprehensively better defensively and offensively.

Barca are seriously underrated, just watching sky sports and between Hoddle Carragher and Redknapp none of them even mentioned Barcelona as possible winners instead talking about Bayern and Real.
We still have the best team and we will beat Atletico next week. They can't play their usual game against us as they cannot sit back and hope we don't score, they cannot play for a 0-0. While we know what we have to do and it doesn't matter if Atletico score as long as we match them.
We have a better midfield and attack than either Bayern or Real and it is up to Tata and the players to do their best, if they do then we will win the Champions league

i agree with you, both barca and atletico are underrated but good for us. they can go on about real and bayern as much as they like. fuck'em.
but y can't atletico play for 0-0? i think its most obvious they will sit back and only try to score on counter with 3 maybe 4 players at most on a few occasions unless we get a goal.

They can play for a 0-0 in theory, but it would be a hell of a risk knowing that Barca can score at anytime and if Barcelona do score then Atleticos gameplan is out the window.
Barca should go all out attack and look to score twice as quickly as possible, if they can do that then no way will Atletico score 3.

as long as they are going through. they aren't gonna push with more than 3 or 4 on a counter, i think. if they do it will be in very brief calculated points in the match.

I can't see our team going through if Leo makes the same performance as yesterday. Neymar and even Andres at their top level is not enough because we became too predictable to Atletico ; they know us more than perfectly.

This is simply not true. In the last several encounters we had trouble scoring against them, whether it was home or away.
The monkey is on our back, not theirs. They will park the bus like they always do playing against us and be playing for 0-0.

It is true, we can score at any time. We have the best forward line in the world and can create chances better than any other team. We know what we have to do, Atletico have a tricky choice to make in regards to how they approach the game. We have one choice which is to attack and score as many as we can, Atletico can't really do that as they have the advantage already with the away goal and do not have the players that we have.

On paper, in theory only. But football is not played on paper.
We will attack for sure, but that will make our defense vulnerable. ATM will just park the bus and counter. It will truly take a miracle for us to go through.

the best course of action is to bring leo more to the right wing forward position much more often than the last game. he went out there a couple times yesterday to find space. start him out there and see how it looks for 15-25 minutes. of course, he'll have to mark a bit more.
lets spread them out a little.
got so tired of seeing our players, mainly our middle guys trying to force it through the middle. its both harder to get anything there against a well organized defense as well as its more risky to try there. so why do we continue?
especially as we had so much success when dani attacked the right side and iniesta and later even more with neymar attacking the left. take the tiki taka to the corners and cut it back on the ground to the middle.
