No, he could have done that right after the celebrations as well, often when something good happens he acts like he is the player that scored the goal or won the game. Its even pointless to yell instructions at them right after a goal when they are all euphoric, like its gonna get trough to them.
He was just celebrating and stealing moments by focussing all the attention on him cause thats basically what he is about, ego maniac and an attentionwhore.
