Lucky, but deserved. They gave their all and I can respect that. Their fans are annoying, I'll give you that. We were also lucky in 2009.

Peps Bayern isn't as good as 2011 Barca yet but this is only the first season of Peps reign so I'm unsure whether next year on in 2 years time especially with Lewa if it can be better than the 2011 Barca but I doubt it. Bayern were easy to contain for United when all they was doing was keeping possesion and trying to play that final ball, but when the wingers came more into play Bayern wentup another level, its like the team try to play the Pep way but when they went a goal down in both legs they reverted back to playing how they are comftable and very effective, I think last years Bayern vs 2011 Barca would be a much more closer match.

I will support Atletico all the way to final and hope for them to win it but of course as a Barca fan I wish them to lose points on La Liga and lose against us at Camp Nou on the last match of the season.

I hope the history repeats itself:

2008 - Manchester United eliminated us and won the trophy
2010 - Inter eliminated us and won the trophy
2012 - Chelsea eliminated us and won the trophy
2014 - Atletico eliminated us and hopefully they win it.

The only difference in this pattern is we got eliminated on Quarter-finals unlike before where we got eliminated on Semi-finals. This is the first time we didn't reach Semi-finals since 2008.

No. They would be the only team to win it back to back since 92' or something like that. Real won it 5 times in a row in the 50' ..

You sound like Real Madrid fan with those 50s trophies. CL was nowhere near as big or competitive then. Only 4 teams played then i think. It was a glorified friendly type competition.

Bayern should win more than 14 trophies in 4 years and equal Barca's sixtuple in one year to be considered better.

Hate to say it but at this rate they probably will. They will win all domestic trophies for the next 5 years at least. If they get Benatia they might have a hat trick of back to back CLs. Hope that doesnt happen.

I actually prefer Bayern to win the competition now. If Atletico win I don't mind that much either, but please not Real or Chelsea.

My preference for the winer is like this:

1. Atletico
2. Bayern
3. Chelsea
4. Real Madrid

Madrid should not win it at all, I cant stand Mourinho so im hoping for a Bayern vs Atletico final with Simeone's guys pulling of the miracle in winning the cl. Allthough it could very well be a season like Bilbao in 2012, close to prizes but just missing out.
