Not really. Barca at their peak could not be stopped no matter what the opposition did. Madrid played a similar way their playing right now against us many times and we still managed to beat them. It's the personal that matter tbh, Barca had Xavi, Messi and Iniesta at their absolute best, Bayern do not have that. Pep is trying to make Bayern play like Barca without the players best fitted for that system.

Mourinho's Chelsea was also unbeatable in 2005' when no one figured out how to play against their strange sit-back-and-play-counterattacks football.

When teams figured out how to play against it, they were not that dangerous anymore.

What if Barca's Tiki-Taka was new and fresh back then, and it is an old story currently, and everyone learned the tricks how to defend?

Again, if we assume that Tiki-Taka is a godlike formation, that would mean that (if played correctly) it would be unbeatable both in 2020 and 2120.
If you get my point.
In one moment each tactic/formation gets too old and too easy to defend against.

Counter attacking =/= Parking the bus. Look up the highlights for the Chelsea game last night and compare it to the way Madrid are playing. It's not even remotely similar.

You could easily say that crossing has been equally ineffective.

Everyone drawing the wrong conclusion again that if a team that plays Tiki-Taka cannot break down a defence, it means the whole system is a failure and defunct.

Tiki-Taka played at its best is almost un-defendable. It's not tiki-taka that is the problem, it's the way it is executed.

Yes. Bayern of last season was much closer to peak Barca than this seasons Bayern.

Bayern looks nothing like Barca 10/11. Barca 10/11 could actually defend and would have broken down this Madrid team by now.

Maybe not in defense but their midfield and upwards, ball possession and the force that drives them forward is very similar to our finest moments.
