Hmm don't be so sure, the CL is a very tough game, and more than the liga sometimes based on form (see Barca vs inter and Barca vs Chelsea, could've gotten through but didn't make it). That's why, winning the liga is much more important, because it's a super long marathon, CL is spectacular, but also a greater portion of luck sometimes.

None should compare Barca to Bayern at the first place. Bayern has insane depth in their squad. Barca can't even field proper CBs for their first team.

Cycle? They made 2 CL finals, but they weren't that good before 2013. The 2013 team was a completely different one than the 2012 team.
