Champions League 2016/17

Barçapocalypse NOW!
Our board thought oh we have iniesta and xavi and they will last forever. Now look at us we have one of the weakest midfields of all top teams and these cunts from madrid the best midfield. 2/3 of their midfielder wanted even to join us but nah lets buy players like gomes arda.... how ironic... hurts deeply seeing them winning it the second time. They will made history with this....

I will take any opportunity I have to remind every one that if we get lucky and win La Liga we still have to pay Valencia 1 million for Gomes' transfer... If it had been the CL it would have been 5 million...

Let that sink in...

Honestly Real is the best team out there by a margin.
I know there was a Clasico recently that suggest otherwise (barely though), but as we all know everyone has their kryptonite tactic wise.
When we use a bigger picture, Barca wouldn't do as well in those games as Madrid did, neither would anyone else, ref this, ref that, they've convincingly killed 2 of the biggest CL threats in 3 consecutive games without breaking in sweat. They are easily the most balanced side out there, with unparalelled worldclass on any position and an absolute killer mentality. I have no hopes for Monaco or Juve.

bullshit .. The best team in Europe got knocked out by the referees .. Still you're right, they are good nevertheless

Bayern isn't the best team dude, I say that and i'm actually biased towards them. There were questionable ref decisions, but Madrid was having the better chances in either of these games. If not result wise, then at least on the pitch Real was a class better there in the front and the back.

Bayern lol.

A third of their starting XI is basically in their mid 30s. They are nowhere near this Real side. Nobody is.

Bayern were on their way to elimnate real Madrid if not for the red card. They were on their ass and age has nothing to do with that .. a 35 years old Robben played like he was in his 20's. Age is a number performances is where the money at

Lol Bayern is awful

Two shots on target, one of them was the penalty

Their second goal was also offside, and the penalty on Carvajal was not a penalty

For me they are amongst the most overrated teams around

last 6 meetings between bayern and real:

2-1 bayern
1-2 real
0-1 real
0-4 real
1-2 real
2-4 real

1W, 5L, 6-14 in goals, and of those 6 goals, bayern had 2 penalties and 1 own goal. real is the better and more complete team.

lol their attack over the two legs was garbage.

Controversy aside, nobody in their right mind could debate that Real aren't the best and most complete team in the world today. Their depth is ridiculous, they have the best midfielders in the world, by far the best full backs in the world and massive quality upfront.

Juventus have a better overall defence and we have a better attack than Real Madrid. But in terms of a totality, no one even comes close.

why would i need the highlights mate when i have watched the 2 games .. right before the ridiculous red card of vidal Bayern were closer to the qualification than Real Madrid. and they were heading to the extra-times with Bayern having the monumentum. If dumass Vidal didn't miss the penalty; at 2-0 we wouldn't even have been talking about this shit right now.. Real Madrid were getting massacred.

edit: i'm not even bring out the red card of casemiro

this. it is their depth that is scariest for me, because it it thanks to that that they can play without burning out (like we always do) all season long. Real will wrap up the league basically playing their B side (James, morata, kovacic) etc while resting their key players (Ronaldo, luka, benz) for the CL. its enviable. on the other hand Iniesta just cannot play two matches in a row and perform; Messi has to score and produce from late august to may and neymar and suarez are inconsistent, firing up for a month or two and then receding behind messi for a month, etc.

one of the reasons i think Bayern went from treble to consecutive eliminations at the hands of spanish teams is that Pep squandered the phenomenal depth Heynckes had built leading up to Bayern's 2013 CL win: luiz gustavo, mario gomes, kroos, shaqiri, etc, all superb bench players left or were sold and now bayern have been reduced to ribbery-robben-lewa

Pep fucked up with us also. He left a team of midgets who only knew how to pass backwards and sideways.

That team with midgets that could only pass backwards and sideways was a penalty/post/bar away from reaching a CL final.

Pretty great for a bad bunch of midgets.

Left the team in a decent enough shape. Zubi + Rosell could have or should have added a couple of players to that team and it would have been good to go. Didn't happen and that wasn't Pep's fault.

I hate to say it but what I thought when watching RM yesterday was that they right now have a better passing game than Barça, plus the aerial threat. Amazing team play and spirit.
Yes, Barça can still beat them because of individual brilliance by Messi, Iniesta etc., but they are an impressive team.
As to Atletico, they looked mediocre yesterday, no fighting spirit, no desire to reach the final. They did not look as if they belonged.

>Ref helps Monaco beat Juve, thinking it'll be an easy win for RM
>RM beat Monaco with a pen from a clear Penaldo dive in the last minute
>It gets investigated
>RM get their last 2 CLs taken from them Juve style
>?????
>Profit

For the record I'm actually not a believer in the conspiracy theory. I think it's something closer to refs being afraid to make calls against Madrid after Mourinho's rant.

can you explain this , please ??
