121 km tottenham vs 109 km real madrid. hard work pays off
That's what caused English teams dominance in the mid to late 2000's
Hence again. But even then the only reason they got dominant is because of vague tactical innovation where no continental team bar Milan and Rijkaard's Barca could produce anything great on a regular basis. There is nothing new from these English teams really. Chelsea seem to have most to offer on that front. Spurs are so green and we may or may not see anything great from them. Not really surprised Pep is doing well either, was always gonna happen IF it clicked with them.
So so sad. I hope that at least some other team from the same level as Spuds will save Europe from this sort of trend.
But frankly? I think United will take it.
Didn't Madrid win the CL finishing 2nd out of their group in the last two years?
Madrid were shit, that RB and Marcelo were so poor tonight. Ramos as a defender is so overrated its not even funny and that Nacho guy.. Ronaldo is on a huge decline, barely involved these days. great to see Spurs doing well. imo City are favourites with PSG a close 2nd. doesn't look good for Spanish teams this year but ill wait before all the 'PL domination' bullshit as United and Chelsea look garbage.
United has win every game. Why garbage?
From the best team in the world to a mid-table la liga team, in a couple of months.
Biggest decline since Inter?
I understand we had a better squad last season, but even our first team is crap, every single player has been subpar for months now.
It doesnt make any sense, what is going on?
