One thing is for sure, I really would not wanted Barca to have been played instead of Roma the first semifinal leg away vs. LFC on Anfield, they would have butchered Barca with their intensity, drive, pressing and all considering our complacency, lack of sufficient individual effort and how tired Fraudverde made the team by overplaying the same players on all three competitions... They would've easily scored three or four past this team in this state imo.

Doubt a match with Liverpool could have been more embarrassing than Rome.

FFS still agonizing that we are not playing today. Abomination of a result.

It will never heal until we win this competition again...god knows when that will be.

Yeah I’m bumming hard today. Going to be even more painful when Liverpool go and win 3-0 tonight. We played our worst match of the season against Roma. Even a smidge of effort from the team would have seen us trough.

One of the worst in history for me...or at least as long as I've been watching Barca.

And yeah, agreed. If we put in 1/4 of the effort we put in against Sevilla, we would have gone through. Depressing.

dude Liverpool will probably struggle with Roma, they usually raise their game against the top dogs and fuck up vs minnows

edit: wrong quote, was meant to quote Wisconsin

I think Di Francesco is smart enough to not play short passes and to play long balls to Dzeko. If he follows the Mourinho blueprint (which I think Roma has the players to sit back and play long balls) then I think Roma can go to the finals.

Posters saw us being outplayed by Roma on all fronts and still underestimate them . Roma are a good side, and their status of an underdog frees them of any pressure tonight. I would not be that surprised if they go through.

Roma are a good team, that's true, but they are far from great. It was us being utter shit in the second leg more than them being strong. If we would have played like a team of our caliber should, then after their 1st goal we would have equalized and put the tie to bed. But Roma looked against us like they were Bayern of 12-13 .

They can make it to the final because Liverpool aren't so convincing in defense, but i don't think they stand a chance against Bayern/Madrid.

Neither team will lift the trophy obviously. It will be another underdog team making it to the final and then collecting their runners-up medals to Madrid/Bayern à la Atletico/Juventus/Dortmund in the past.

Tomorrow is the decisive day.

Liverpool are usually better as an underdog team though so vs Madrid in a final i give them a small chance.

I wish I could watch cl without bias once we are out but im sick and tired of Real winning. It really needs to be stopped so Bayern should do it tomorrow if not Liverpool has the best shot. Be it a small one. A real vs Roma final would be an easy 4-0 victory. So rooting for Liverpool

Real are actually not the fastest team anymore, so I would pretty much prefer Liverpool against Real than Roma, in case that Bayern doesn't eliminate them.
