When they are on, they are like Madrid's. Alba is up there, Pique is like Ramos, Messi is Messi, Suarez becomes the best pure 9 again, Busi turns into the best DM instantly, Iniesta turns back the clock. It's why we have a positive record vs Madrid.

But they don't turn it up in CL. Most of them are lazy as fuck and as arrogant as they come. Spoilt players who don't have as great of a mentality as the Madrid players.

Barca peak too early for the Copa Del Ray period and are physically knackered when CL knockouts start.

Madrid ain't that great either. Their game play is worse. They live through individual actions more. Ronaldo was quiet, but here pops Marcelo with a personal goal. Individual goals is a tremendous asset to have in a competition like CL.

I don't think its pampering thats the problem.. i think Madrids ruthlessness under Perez is actually the driving factor. look at James for example, Madrid just tossed him away without a whim. they players know the club/fans are incredibly fickle, its perform or gtfo and that goes for the managers aswell.

08-12 messi earned 5-12 m a season when he was an absolute demon to play against.
15 messi earned 30 m a season while still being a demon.
18 messi earns 100 m a season while mailing it in CL

i mean this is just my opinion but not many starters i would take from their squad, now their bench is better than ours i agree.

that's comparing your best possible 11 with Bayern's curent match squad, not considering that Coutinho isn't CL eligible while Alaba and Neuer are injured. Other than that, I agree with most pof those, but not all of them. Don't think Suarez is as good as Lewandowski, neither do I consider Pique and Umtiti as good as Hummels and Boateng. Also think Bayern has a complete different set of subs to bring in than Barca.
