Arsenal aren't a great side, but they're a relatively tough team to get drawn against when it comes to the R16. There are so many other crap teams that we could get paired with and Arsenal are one of the better English sides.

Arsenal are not a tough draw.

Just about any decent team has beaten them at a canter in knock out stages.

They have not been able to defend at that level. Barely any difference getting them and a decent Italian or German team.

If Real got Arsenal no one would claim it is a tough draw.

Barca never really got any of the properly weaker sides though.

So what? If we are to win the CL, we should be able to beat those at any time from February to June, since it's the most important part of the season. I'd rather see us out in the eight finals rather than semis for example.

To be fair, i don't want us to win a CL the way RM did in 2016, with opponents like Wolfsburg, a poor Man City and Rome. That was some Chelsea-esque type of campaign from them.

If however we will reach the semis and we will continue to play the way we are now, we will be woken up to reality just like in 2013, when Bayern trashed us.

Tough draw? Most teams would love to play Arsenal in R16 if they was in the CL. It's where they normally failed.
