Nope. Somebody will win it. And it will be a big team with plenty of players who could win the Ballon d'Or.

Some big teams, like France, Germany or Spain have several great players where noone stands out. People who root for Messi and Ronaldo will argue that they won the WC as a team, plus votes will seperate between 2-3 players of that country whom the win could get attributed for. It really needs an absolute standout WC for anyone to take this off either, Messi, or more likely Ronaldo.

For Germany probably Kroos, because he got both major titles.
For Spain Ramos because of the same reason, although defenders rarely win it now.
For France maybe griezmann because of his EL final performance.
These players would need to be absolutely incredible during the WC to get in consideration.

2011 we dominated Utd and beat them 3-1 "in a fantastic display.

Real beat a crap Liverpool side by the same score and win 3-1 too.

That is the difference. They can play shit and still win comfortably.

Yes, but fans remember performances more than results. I know almost every play in that final like it was yesterday and I will never forget it. Same with 2009, same with 2015. Every time we win it it's special, with unforgettable performances.

reading this comments i'm glad i didn't watch it,i'd probably destroy the house
no matter how salty we are now it has to be said that they are greatest team in europe.Luck, shit goalkeepers, penalties and everything else are now just weak arguments to try discredit their success,i pretty much doubt any other club will ever repeat what they did last three years...
i lost all my joy for CL,i don't see anyone stopping them next year, especially not us

you obviously didn't watch it and you probably should if you think this Madrid are the greatest team in Europe

Surely the opener goal wasn't luck? It was experience from Madrid to bait out that Karius mistake?
They got lucky too many times, and the problem is, whoever they play against, opponents always get intimidated and just bend over for them. This is why I was hoping we get RM because we are the only ones that can knock them out.

Sometimes the winner is a team who makes more good things during the match.

Sometimes the winner is a team who makes less deadly mistakes during the match.

That is a trick.
Real will always do a decent amount of good things.
And they will never have brainfarts.

On the other hand, young players, or inexperienced teams and players will always be on a verge of making a brainfart in a key moment.

Remember all missed penalties and random brainfarts against them.
The opponents are scared and that's it.

On the other hand, our transfers are kid Dembele, Semedo with one senior football season, Arthur with zero minutes in Europe.

Do you wanna bet: who is more likelyto make a deadly brainfart next season in a Cl's quarters: Barca's kids or Rm's winners?

Rm's players are in a Cl's final each season.
Karius watched a Cl final on a tv till now.
Who is more likely to crumble under pressure and make a deadly brainfart?
