Dude your club jerks it off gifted last minute winners against 20th placed Valencia

If this is embarrassing then Real Madrid's recent history is just a ton of embarrassment
It absolutely is embarrassing
Got a Greek scrub barely squeezing in 4 goals all year dunking a hattrick on you and the retired keeper
Simples and has nowt to do with Real performance here there or anywhere

But dont mind me, 1 month La Liga champions, sandpit clasico champions, Im sure you'll also do well against Valencia
Keep pretending it's all 'classic footy' innit

Just seething at the clásico defeats it seems like

20 matches left to play brother

You said this is the worst Madrid team in a long time after the 5-2. Of all people you should know it would be little to no surprise if those glory hunting galacticos bottled this lead.
That you have taken the above to somehow be a celebration of RM league position shows precisely how much you miss the point, much like other two lads
Point clear as day, really doesnt need repeating

You can tell Wolfe genuinely hates Barca from the way a strong Barca season (in CL and vs big teams) just makes him seethe. Might even turn into Billy if we manage a CL win

5-2 and 4-0

Calma

Table will still change dramatically, it's near impossible to try and aim for a specific spot to get easier draw, all you can do is win your group games and hope for the best. If current table was the final standing, knockouts would be:

Liverpool vs. Winner of Match 8 (AC Milan vs. Manchester City)

FC Barcelona vs. Winner of Match 7 (Atlético Madrid vs. PSV Eindhoven)

Inter Milan vs. Winner of Match 6 (SL Benfica vs. Juventus)

Bayer Leverkusen vs. Winner of Match 5 (Bayern Munich vs. Celtic)

Arsenal vs. Winner of Match 4 (Lille OSC vs. Feyenoord)

Atalanta vs. Winner of Match 3 (Stade Brestois 29 vs. Club Brugge)

Borussia Dortmund vs. Winner of Match 2 (Sporting CP vs. Dinamo Zagreb)

AS Monaco vs. Winner of Match 1 (Aston Villa vs. Real Madrid)

This is a final that is worthy of a CL final for this season

Way too early for this kind of discussion but out of respect for you, I'll give my opinion......

Without being cocky, I'm pretty sure Flick's style of play would help Slot a lot in a one off game. Slot is a masterful tactician, makes tactical adjustments every game and Barca's tactical flaws in the defensive phase will definitely be exploited. Every single LFC attacker is fast except Gakpo.

You can probably find a lot of joy against Trent but if Bradley plays it'll be very difficult for you lot. VVD and Konate are monsters 1 v 1 and very tough to dribble past. Robertson has declined a bit and Yamal can probably rinse him 1 v 1. Saka did it so Yamal can definitely do it.

Talking about the midfield, I'm still in favour of Gravenberch-Macca-Szobo as compared to Pedri-Olmo-Casado. Our midfield has more balance, physicality and work rate. I think people here don't appreciate how brilliant Ryan has been this season. Best in the world in his position by a mile.

I think Barca will suit us well but if VVD doesn't play, Barca will win. It's that simple really. As crazy as it sounds, he carries the team.

@jamrock @Birdy thoughts?

If Liverpool play current Barcelona, Liverpool would win 6/7 times out of 10.

Flick will firstly need to adjust his suicide line, like he did in the super cup and we would need out forwards to take their chances.

I think the game would be won and loss on the wings.

Salah and diaz vs kounde and balde
Vs
Yamal and Raphinha vs Robertson and Trent.

Whoever wins those battles will probably win the game.

Liverpool have the advantage in Central defense and a coach that is a lot more tactical flexible than flick.

Advantage Liverpool.
