Anyone who thinks Casado is a better player than Frenkster has nae clue.

Same folk who think Bellimgham is shite and rate Gavi as a top top player.

Strange world.

So, we know the favorites to go through given the 1st legs:

Madrid
PSG
Dortmund
Benfica
Bayern
Juve

And then Atalanta and Milan lost tonight, but very likely to overturn it on their own turf.
If one team can make a surprise qualification it's Feyenoord

So it's either Benfica or PSG for us in ro16 by the looks of it

Both dangerous. Good we have a sample to learn from if get Benfica. As for PSG, will be tricky but I believe we can pass whoever we get.

Also the bracket will be important.

the PSG side of the bracket is much more dangerous, it features already PSG, Madrid, Atalanta, Juve from the ones playing now

While the Benfica side will have Benfica, Dortmund, Bayern, Milan/Feyenoord

The winger market is absolutely washed, save the money and spent big on Isak. Unironically might outperform most of the LW targets if he plays there.

Not quite sure why the club would now spend big on a LW anyway.

The current system if LB takes all the width with Raph bordeline in a free inside that and around Lewa.

What is the plan if sign Nico/Diaz etc and how often would they even play to be worth it at expense of building more depth.

Feels like over kill to do that at expense of more depth across the team.

Paixao had a top game against Milan, MOTM for him

@Porque, saw you posted about him way back in 2022 in old transfers & rumours thread when he was in Brazil

Looks like a special talent for me. Curious to see how he does on San Siro and if he can propel a Feyenoord miracle.

He was good when I used to watch Brasileiro. Just didn't know if he had the size and all around game to adapt to Europe. Still don't know if it is there for the top. Sinisterra was a bit similar and it hasn't really happened for him post Feyernoord, although Paixao is a fair bit better technically.

Seems he is having an outstanding season.

And for 4.5m purchase price? Yes please.
