5th CL spot next season. Not necessarily Villarreal, it's all teams fighting for the top 5 but Villarreal is a top candidate. Apparently Italian clubs losing in CL is important for Spain to get it.
As @MonteCuler said La Liga and Serie A are competing for that 2nd spot to get 5th CL team next season.

Each Italian club eliminated from Europe is a good news for LL clubs.

I mentioned Villarreal because they're currently 5th and think they'll finish there but could also be Athletic if they drop in form or one of the clubs currently behind them like Mallorca or Rayo but unlikely.

Thanks bossmens

Feels like Atalanta struggle at times v smaller teams that have pace up top and less ego.

They will just put it in channels early and start a chase while some of the bigger teams feel like have to have dominance on ball and play through them.

4-1 for Brugge on aggregate

Well looks like making top 8 was unsurprisingly very important at the end, despite what a lot of people were saying

Atalanta was really close to it on Montjuic, got Brugge everybody thought piss easy and now they're probably out

There's no doubt Leao can be spectacular on his day, but it's days and games like these that tell me he's basically just a right footed Dembele. SImply not worth the 100M+ or even 80M+ MIlan will without a doubt fetch and also will manage to get for him. Or even if he stays there, wouldn't be a massive surprise, kinda feels he likes being a big fish in a small pond, and maybe he's just not cut out for the biggest clubs anyway.

In any case, we should prioritize the striker position this summer. 2 great options minimum with Isak and Šeško there. And get Lewa to leave to cut down the wages even more. It's time.

And who knows, maybe a new young LW will break out next season for us to go get him in 2026, if La Masia doesn't deliver by then.
Really interested in seeing how Echeverri does for City in the next year or so, I'm betting he'll be balling for them soon enough, too bad we didn't get him.
