Bellingham is gonna play in 2nd leg also. They'd do well to try and get a win Atletico. I believe Atletico deserve a CL if we're not in the final.

Real be as well putting Asencio RB and getting Valverde in midfield and taking off one of Tchou or Cama or even Diaz to make it stronger in there.

Then Modric on for last 20/30 mins.

For the first time, Atletico got over their Madrid UCL inferiority complex and actually scored a goal and fought back in the Bernabeu. Maybe they could knock Real Madrid who knows, all up for grabs now…

Of all clubs not to win it Atletico deserves it the most

2 times last second equalizers stopped them in final (2014 and once in 70s against Bayern I think) and also that final 2016 Madrid robbery as per

I agree, if we don't win I'd like to see Atletico win it the most

I want to make one point. For the first 5-7 minutes, Mbappe and Vinni actively returned to defense and were actively on pressing, but then with every minute they became more and more passive. I say this because you can’t take Leao, for example, who has been lazy without the ball for the last 5 years, and then make him run without the ball. That's it, on a mental level he is different.

Same with Mbappe - you can't make him work hard without the ball. Yes, he can be active and inspired for a few minutes, but not even 20 minutes of the match.

I say this to mean that we must demand from Yamal complete dedication when working in defense and pressing now. Some idiots, when I point out how lazy he is in certain game episodes, start screaming - oh, he’s a "kid". Idiots, that’s it - he’s a "kid" - the mentality that he develops now will stay with him throughout his entire career.

Inferiority complex of AM in CL is overplayed. Madrid won the 2 finals by a hair.

Without his huge salary, Flick would probably have wanted to keep him. He had a good pre-season.

Hell, if we could sell Araujo for 50m+ and renew Lenglet on what Tah would be on, Flick would probably have that as our two left centers next season.
Don't think Lenglet had a credible chance to stay. CB is the position the squad has the best depth both in quality and quantity. Could not be expected that Christensen will be injured for so long.

Once you're loaned out it is pretty much game over to get a credible chance again. Can't remember a player in recent history who came back from a loan and been successful at Barça.

Makes you a little bit scared about how Camp Nou will end up looking like.

I'm prepared for it to look worse than the renders, but it won't be as far apart.

I already saw from the videos on the construction and the tests done with the ceramic panels put on the facade that they will not be as close to each other as in the renders.
