Pedri is far more creative than the other midfielders in Europe, but PSG's pair Vitinha and Neves pose problems because they are quick and move a lot.

De Jong is also among the best on this form tbh at breaking down the press. He is starting to lock that DM position for us.

The PSG pair just don't lose the ball.

Neves is like Casado but with a passing range. Impressive.

Pep screwed up not getting him.

I believe we have superior technique in midfield. We would likely dominate most of the ball, but they would be dangerous on the counters.

While our midfield is better, the only thing I would worry about with regards to PSG's trio is whether a player such as Frenkie will be able to play with type of physicality Neves does.

There are times where Frenkie simply gets pushed over easily looking for fouls it seems, and there are other times where he'll get stuck in and really play aggressively.

This!

They NEVER lose the ball.
Having to play against them when they have a lead and team is forced to press would be a nightmare

Half the battle with Neves and Vitinha would be trying to keep them occupied the other way.

Make them have to pick up Olmo and be wary of him and not have freedom to move as wish.

Liverpool didnt really have anyone like that in AM area.

the cunt is no threat in behins with Lewa allows them to play with bit more freedom also.

If play a headliess chicken like Gavi at AM they will pass round him all day and have no fear of him on ball at all.

Thats why it would be a battle as to why can keep ball better in middle of park.

Absolutely.

One deficiency I see in them is despite today's wonder pass, Pacho is their Araujo. You have to leave Donnarumma and Pacho as the outlets and close down the passing options. From there you can create favourable turnovers.

Liverpool looked out of form and unable to both press effectively, while their midfield just didn't know how to escape the PSG press. Something we excel at.

Would be a great matchup in a one of tie. With a final being more cagey than we would likely expect and the difference coming to the manages.

Spot on!

Pacho and Donnaruma are the weak links in their otherwise unbeatable passing game

They ran circles around de jong last season.

He couldn't break the press for nada.

He's my biggest fair if we ever face them.
