Yeah but a slip is an involuntary touch that may actually miss the penalty kick, not an advantage, it's not like you touch it intentionally beforehand to gain a certain advantage over the keeper.
It's not a charity. There are rules, he messed up. No 2nd chances.

People who call this a robbery are clueless

Most obvious result ever. Congrats to Real... need PSG or Arsenal to step up
Real is already in the final, those losers have no chance. Atleti had the best chance, Arsenal and QSG won't even make it to extra time.

Atlético are to blame. they will never achieve anything if they keep being so negative. scoring in the first minute and wasting time all game long.
And fir me the penalty cancellation is a crap decision but they would loose anyway

No chance you rule out a penalty for a slip in this high stakes game

Stupid rule indeed, but it is as it is.

Atletico should be proud of themselves imo. Had the bigger chances overall. But Madrid is tough to beat and Arsenal and PSG are gonna find out soon.

Here guys, read

Consequences:
1. The penalty is disallowed, meaning it does not count as a goal.

2. The opposing team does not get a retake; the penalty is simply recorded as a miss.

3. The shootout continues with the next player if it's not yet decided.

This is based on Law 14 (The Penalty Kick) from the IFAB Laws of the Game, which states that the taker must not touch the ball again until another player has played it.

According to FIFA and UEFA rules, during a penalty shootout, the taker is only allowed to touch the ball once after taking the shot. If a player accidentally slips and touches the ball twice (e.g., the ball bounces off their other foot before reaching the goal), it is considered an infringement.
