Let me guess… Jammy?

Just put him on ignore, massively improved the forum for me.

Good.. good.

Cant handle your shite about Gavi etc being called out and how big a bum you claim Flick is as a Xavi fanboy.

Keep on ignore chief it massively improved it for me putting you in your place once when required.

'Gavi is better than Wirtz and a top techincal player'.

Imagine actually believing that.

Inter against Bayern is a 50/50. Both teams are about the same level ; whilst Bayern have been pretty poor under Kompany, they obviously have a great roster and much more pedigree at the top level in recent years.
I can't understand why most think this is 50/50 or even worse, slightly in favor of Bayern.
- They have conceded 3 goals against Barca this season in transitions.
- Could not cope with Villa transitions, in a period when they were in hot form
- Lost 3-0 to Feyenoord that sat deep and countered
- Even managed to make the tie against Celtic open at Allianz, cauz they could not cope with their counters

Don't get carried away by the fact that they play beautiful offensive football, or that they thumped Leverkusen (same-country games in europe have their own logic)

Inter, especially, given how they play, will be a nightmare for them. They will frustrate their attack with a sturdy defense, and kill them in transition

Bayern for me as have the better attacking players.. prefer Inter in semis.

Also Lautaro is out of Argentinas games coming up and would be big loss if that carries over.

Based on form and us destroying
Bayern
Dortmund
Madrid X2.

In theory there is no one we can't beat, but we've had better teams before in the past and loss.

I'm confident but lets not downplay Bayern too much.

Plus we are missing casado, key player in all those high intensity game.

Casado would barely play in these games let alone be key.

Its like claiming Pena should be put back in.

He was not nearly as good v likes of Bayern as some make out. Barca largely struggled to get much to grip with their midfield in that game and it came down to front lines.

The opposite.
Inter will be hard for us.
We have the blueprint on how to beat Bayern from the October game.

Teams should be hard by semi finals and not saying anyone will be easy. Just think Bayern probably edges Inter and would be tougher match up for Barca.

Likes of PSG/Real didnt have a great group stage either can only take so much from it.

On paper? Yes but Barca destroyed Bayern this season.

Inter will probably be more challenging because of their tactics and amazing defense in the CL this season. They have rarely conceded in the CL this season.

A semi final is a different kettle of fish and it is not 100% at home.

Bayern I think wouldnt go as gung ho as that again and the difference that day was front three and small margins despite scoreline.

I think they would play a lot more patiently and with awareness home leg to come than did in group game.

As said its a whole new stage. Likes of Real and PSG were not great in groups either but different at this stage.

Hope all those that favour Inter are correct as would prefer them in semi.

Villa and Feyenoord beat Bayern also in groups.. still wouldnt take too much notice if they had ever happened to meet in KOs.

You say that but isn't Kompany the kinda guy who went gung ho with Burnley even though they were getting slapped week in week out? He's dogmatic in his approach and hasn't shown any signs of pragmatism when required.

Real and PSG have experienced managers who have been in these situations before.

He might but I dont think he will go as gung ho in two legged semi.

Folk are overly focusing on group results.

If Barca beat Dortmund there is a decent chance they could be the only top 10 side in the semi finals.

Very interesting...
Capello ruled in the early days, then Van Gaal and Hitchfeld, Lippi, then it was all SAF, until Pep and Ancelotti climbed high.
Depressing to see how high SAF and Wenger were and still are, yet brought so few CLs home (Wenger 0)

PS:
Look who is the king of Points per game: Herr Meister Hansi!
