Hugely proud to see my side in a CL quarter final tonight, considering we were relegated eight years ago and 16th in PL when super Unai took over.

As good as PSG are, I'd heavily favour Barca against them. They press you like mad, zip the ball around nicely but a lot of their efforts come from quite far out as they lack that body in the box. Probably why they've drawn a blank against Arsenal, Bayern and only managed one goal from open play in 210 minutes against Liverpool despite dominating them.
I hope we can qualify for Europa League next season as that is truly a level our squad is composed for but great fun whilst it lasted.

Yeah mate, Villa aren't really a quarters and semis of the CL squad. Still a very good team, but more of the 6th or 7th or 8th best team in England on paper.

Emery has done a very good job and I hope people don't turn on him after this result against a good PSG team.

You never knew - that late goal probably killed the tie, but at 2-1 Villa would have fancied some chances with the atmosphere at Villa Park. But overall PSG are the better side.

Like you say, you should be proud after relegation, then rebuilding a bit after selling Grealish, and the Gerrard debacle where he went from looking clueless to getting in a great coach like Emery. Hopefully you can get into EL next season and go close to winning that.

The team has given you some great nights this season in Europe (notably the win against Bayern). Hope you have enjoyed.

Put it this way mate, if someone had told me three years ago we'd be playing PSG in the CL QF with Mings, Konsa, Cash, McGinn and Watkins still in the squad, I've have got you sectioned., no Villa fan will turn on Emery, the bloke has worked miracles.

PSG vs Arsenal could be an interesting tie, obviously Arsenal already got the win against them a few months back but their very good at set pieces and PSG do not have an awful lot of aerial presence whatsoever. Offensively their main target tonight was Joao Neves running in late and he's about 5ft 8 and we never made anything of our corners when we could have.

Yeah true mate. Didn't mean Villa fans, just meant some of the muppets in the media who react and change their minds like the weather.

Yeah the set-pieces could be a big factor. Odegaard, Saka and Rice swing them corners right underneath the bar.

Joao Neves is a superb little player, isn't he? Shame his and other Portuguese players' international career are being ruined by a certain 40-year-old egomanic who refuses to pass the torch.

He's unbelievable. Outside of Barca, PSG definitely got the next strongest midfield pairing with him and Vitinha.

Kvara was isolated most of first half the way Yamal is many times. PSG's mids were playing more on the right too. They scored really good individual goals on breaks but the link up against Villa's bus wasn't really successful probably because they don't face such good buses in Ligue, also Dembele can't tiki.

Waiting on Paramount to post replay of Barca to watch.

Watching Bayern v Inter highlights from last night... fucking hell Kimmich was woeful and slow on both Inter goals.

Can see why no top club went for him when needed deeper mids. Never a defensive player and too slow. S

Still got quality on ball but by fuck he was poor last night.

If all the the teams that have an advantage make it through, which as least 3/4 will

The SF will he wide open, PSG and Barca are favorites but also have clear weaknesses that can be exploited by Arsenal and Inter.

Looking forward to those games.

Arsenal can definitely beat PSG. They have the best defense in the world alongside Inter and can destroy the small, aerially weak PSG team in set pieces.

Arsenal's biggest weapon this season has been their amazing set pieces. PSG will be in a lot of trouble with their cute, soft and tiny team. @Birdy

Number 6 coming home Insha’Allah.

I whole heartedly believe this is our year, everything is clicking and life couldn’t be better as a Barcelona supporter. Insha’Allah May the 31st 2025 will be the crowning of Futbol Club Barcelona’s 6th European Cup after a decade of disappointment and complacency, we will finally colour Europe Blaugrana just how like we used to do a decade ago
