I can't decide between Inter or Bayern. Both pose problems. Inter can frustrate our attack and can create danger on the counter with very few players, without exposing themselves at the back too much. The best Italian teams always had this quality of precision passing on counters with few men.

Bayern are almost as strong as us offensively, so if Kane has a better match than Lewandowski or Musiala does better than Pedri, we could be in trouble vs Bayern also. Tough games, but it's CL semis, tough is what you'll get especially in this new format.

I think I'd slightly prefer to play Inter. Think they can knock out Bayern, and the advantage is we know they will play the same way vs us as they did in Bayern tie if they are our opponent.

Bayern have an average manager. Inter have a master tactician.

Bayern have more match winners and pace up top which is scarier but Bayern may be looser and not as well coached.

Doubt Inter has a forward that would start for Bayern.. Lautaro.. but Kane is probably still better.

Coin toss but just think Bayern will get past them and Inter not the favs a lot on here make out.

I don't think Inter have master tactician. The thing with Inter is that they haven't really beaten anyone of note in CL. Make a list of their opponents and you have Milan, Porto, Benfica, Atletico, Feyenoord in the last seasons in knockouts. Strongest team out there is Atletico by far and they lost the tie.

I think Inter would be more difficult mainly because Bayern will probably play more of an open game and try to fight us for possession.

Inter are more willing to sit back and set up compact whilst letting us keep the ball which are the situations Flick's tactic is not as effective in.

Inter against Bayern is a 50/50. Both teams are about the same level ; whilst Bayern have been pretty poor under Kompany, they obviously have a great roster and much more pedigree at the top level in recent years.

Despite us being favourite of this side of the bracket, I am not going to get myself worried about who is next.

Barca has a decade long history of choking and underachieving in Europe, it is a habit at this point.

And as great as we are, we have no backup for Kounde, Balde, Raphinha, Lamine or Pedri. At least not someone who would be serviceable enough against such tough sides.

I would worry about every game at a time. Let's beat Dortmund first then worry later.

That's true, but Bayern would press our defense and midfield far more. Inter would just settle for counterattacks.

I think I'd prefer us to deal with a more defensive side, be more secure at the back, and worry about unlocking them using our creative players.

I'd agree normally, but Dortmund are woeful in defense. You can't magically fix that overnight. It would have to be a massive bottle job for us to stumble upon this season's Dortmund.

Thuram will be a problem. Underrated player.

Any CL KO has the chance to be dangerous, and it would be one of a very very long list of CL upsets where teams got complacent, it is so easy to fall into complacency in the CL. Teams never learn from this.

I am sure Flick is aware of this though and no doubt we will be taking the game as seriously as possible.

He's aware. I'm sure we'll treat the tie very professionally. They did make the CL final last year, even if they are midtable this season. If we play like shit, they are well equipped to punish us.

I dont think anyone is 'worrying' but discussing potential opponents.

Would be surprised if they beat us, just because i think flick has master german football.

If we had any other manager

Carlo
Pep

You name it, i wouldn't be so confident.

But who knows
