That's what I said earlier - in the past (more so distant as fergus says) teams have been fearful of Real Madrid and played the club and its prestige, rather than the side on the park. Arsenal went at them tonight and showed them little respect. If other teams had done that they'd have won less.

Yeah I have mentioned my brother here before, and his liking for certain people in football. Kompany is very much on his dislike list, especially as a manager lol.

Kompany was about the 6th choice for them, as they were getting rejected left,right and centre.

They basically had little choice but to gamble on him. He’s definitely done better than Tuchel though who somehow had them finishing 3rd.
