In the past, results like this one usually got the Madrid manager fired the next day. Maybe Papa Florentino will wait to see what happens against us in the Copa del Rey final. If Ancelotti were to lose that as well, I don't see how he could keep his job.

The biggest advantage we will have, is raph and yamal getting into the space behind the wingbacks, assuming inter doesn't make any tactical charges.

A that point one of the back 3 will have to come out and cover the wide spaces, which will leave a two on two with lewa and whoever is on the opposite wing vs there CBs.

If we can get 2-4 of these opportunities over the two legs and take them, advantage us.

Inter will try to stretch our back 4, basically defending one and one across the line, with their two strikers and wing backs.

We will need frenkie and pedri to be smart and defend those half spaces.

Tactical I think inter has the advantage, talent wise we have the advantage.

Bastoni is amazing 1 on 1. I think he can handle Yamal.

Raphinha will be up against Pavard but Raphinha can't really dribble. Inter will sit deep and Rapha won't have space to run in behind.

This can get tricky tactically.

If Dumfries is back, then they'll be very strong. He's a monster physically and can dominate the entire flank singlehandedly on his day.

They also have pace to get in behind Barca's high line. Thuram is fast and strong.

Inter mids have a very nice balance of technical ability and work rate.

Lewandowski will be crucial. He has dominated Acerbi before.

Roma at home before us. We have Real in Sevilla. Then they have Verona at home before 2nd leg also at home. We travel to Valladolid.

That's three tough games for them.
